Comment:

Dr. Pastore is a great guy and his class is very easy. It is entirely project-based so there are no quizzes, tests, or final. He assigns a lot of projects but gives you lab time and examples of other student's work in class. It is important to keep up with the work, but if you are having a hard time you can contact him and he will help you.

Comment:

This was my favorite class. We did projects and some presentations. Dr. P. is always moving around the room asking if we need help and has helped me outside class too. You will not get the projects done in class. Actually this is one of the few classes I have where the professor knows my name. He is funny and personable.

Completely unresponsive and unhelpful. Would not reply to emails asking questions, took weeks to hear back. Has an attitude when students are confused or want clarification. Would not take him again.

Comment:

Cool class! It is all hands-on. No book or tests. You get points for what you do and the projects are fun. I guess you could say this is like the real world! Dr. P is fairly open-minded and flexible. Do the work on time and come to class and you will be fine.

Class is a breeze. All this class is is project after project. The projects are really easy, it is basically just busy work. Plus, the class has no homework and it is all done online so you don't need to buy a textbook.

Dr. Pastore is awesome. I took this class as a gen ed and it was very easy. There is some work that needs to be done outside of class. He tells you on the first day. The assignments are very clear and easy though. No tests, No quizzes, No final. I finished with a 99%. I highly recommend!

I loved this class. If you go to class and do the projects and homeworks you will get an A. He grades fairly easy and allows you to come in at other times to work on projects. I would take this if your good with handing things in on time.

Dr. Pastore was by far the greatest teacher I could have had during my first semester at Bloomsburg. He so genuinely cared about getting to know us all individually and helping us with anything we needed. All around, he's an awesome guy and he keeps his class interesting. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK YOU WONT USE IT. I'm so glad I was in this course:)

Comment:

Dr. Pastore's Ed Tec class was pretty easy. At first it seems overwhelming due to building a website, but it gets easier. As long as you do the assignments you get a 100 on them, I didnt lose a single points of any of the assignments in his class. He is also very easy to talk to, and is willing to help you if you need.

Dr. Pastore was probably one of the best teachers I've had at Bloomsburg so far. His class is very easy, only two tests. I would recommend not getting the book and just making a friend in the class who does since you don't really use it all that much and its expensive. A lot of assignments and busy work, but you do learn a lot about technology.

I really liked my Ed Tech class so I am in the Ed Tech minor. Dr. P. is a different kind of prof and I say that in a good way. He does not lecture and gives challenging technology projects that are interesting. He is super enthusiastic about technology and has an easy going personality. Also, he is not too bad on the eyes!

This was my favorite class. Dr. P's classes are mostly hands-on. The projects are interesting and fun. Dr. P is funny because and keeps walking around during class and asking if anyone need help. I am going to take some of his minor classes.

This class is a lot of work as the semester goes by, but SO worth it. Loved it and Doctor P so much that I'm doing the Ed Tech minor, and I'm not even someone who's big into computers. If you have a problem he is more than willing to help. Funny guy and made class enjoyable.

I enjoyed this class. We did projects related to various technologies and used some interesting web sites Dr. Pastore does not use a book but assigns readings online. He is a good professor who can be very funny in class. Glad I chose this class because it will help me when I student teach next semester.

I had this class last Fall and it was my favorite class. We worked on projects and the work load was reasonable. I learned a lot about how computers can be used in teaching. We also worked with whiteboards, iPads, Macs and PC's, and built a web site.

Comment:

Pastore spends most of the class explaining what you are supposed to do instead of allowing you to do it. Sometimes he doesn't even know what he is doing. The projects require a lot of programs not installed on regular computers so most work needs to be done in class. He isn't very lenient about it either.

Comment:

I have to admit that I am not great at using computers. I am an older learner and never grew up with them like kids today. In addition, English is my second language. I was obviously nervous going into this class but Dr. Pastore could see this and he would always smile and patiently take the time to guide me though. I am even amazed at myself!
