Such an intelligent professor! His class is notorious for being hard and impossible, but in reality it was not bad at all. It is probably hard for students who don't put in the effort. Just make sure to study and you should be solid.

Dr. Haiduk is easily one of the smartest people I've ever met. He tries to make class enjoyable. You have to show up to get notes because he doesn't post online ever. Study as much as possible!!

Dr. Haiduk is very smart and a great professor. He expects his students to do well and know the material. If you don't go to class, he doesn't post the notes anywhere so you will fail. You have to know every single word of his notes for the exams. he will drop test grades if he needs to, to help his students. You HAVE to study a lot or youll fail

Haiduk is very intelligent, but he's not going to try to make things easier to comprehend. You ask for help and he says to contact the book. Outside of class, he is very helpful, but within class, you're on your own. Study EVERYTHING! You breed fruit flies in lab, and a lab report is due at the end. His old tests sometimes help a bit. Good luck!

Never have I met anyone smarter. His classes are not easy though I have really evolved in my field of study by taking so many of the courses he teaches. He is the kind of professor that will fuel your passion to learn. If you are aBio major, never pass an opportunity to enroll in a course he's teaching and as an added bonus he's hilarious!

This is one of the more difficult classes that I have taken in my career. He is a VERY smart man which means that he knows the way the students think along with the everything about genetics. His lecture has 4 tests of which 1 is the final. You have a notebook to submit at the end of the semester for his Lab. Good luck with the Tests, labs are fine

I took him for genetics, and it was by far the hardest class I've ever had. To be fair, I transferred from a community college and am used to fairly straight forward tests. Haiduk's tests are extremely hard. Study every day if you can. Read the book and watch YouTube videos to clarify. If I could go back,I would spend so much more time studying.

If you want to learn the subject, read the textbook religiously. If you want to pass the class, get old test materials and study them seriously. Tests are essayshort answer. He's a very strict grader and old tests will help you know what he's looking for in answers because questions can be vague. He even recommends studying old tests.

I had a lot of interest in this subject until I took the course. Dr. Haiduk is a very intelligent man, but the way he conveys information foreign to students is rarely clear. The class is poorly structured. I had to use the book to clarify most topics. Get old tests, and read sections in the book before he lectures over them.

This class is really tough but the lab is pretty easy. He really knows and understands this subject well but that is his downfall. He expects you to know everything. His tests are not multiple choice so it makes it a lot harder. If you take this class find old tests so you can know the layout of the test. Good luck.

This is a very smart man. Probably the smartest professor I've had. The tests he gives are essay and short answer, there is no multiple guessing. This class will prepared you for tests like the MCAT and DAT. Don't slack off and you should be fine.

Very, very intelligent man. Very profound and will answer questions you ask him. His Genetics class is tricky but well worth it. Probably the most intelligent professor I've come across at this university. I highly recommend Genetics but BE PREPARED for it. Have old tests to study from and be willing to attend classes as often as possible.

BIO II. HE IS A FAIR PRO. HE USES TRANSPARENT SHEETS FOR GIVING LECTURES. HE GIVES LECTURE A BIT FAST IN CLASS. SO AFTER CLASS, YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK AND UNDERSTAND THE NOTE. HIS TESTS ARE MULTIPLE CHOICES. JUST STUDY HIS NOTE AND YOU WILL BE FINE. I TOOK HIS CLASS IN SUMMER 2 2007, AND GOT AN A. GOOD LUCK!

He's a very complicating man in general. He does not 'play' when it comes to his genetics course so watch out or he'll rock your world. Study from the old tests. An A in his genetics course is obtainable, so don't get your hopes up. I also took his desert field mammalogy course in the winter mini and I would recommend it to any one willing to camp.

extremely smart. His notes are extremely extensive and detailed. Though i hated studying the copious amounts of notes, they are helpful for any standardized test that you may have to take (MCAT, PCAT, etc.) keep your notes if you plan on taking a health related standardized test. oh! DO NOT have him for lab, extremely unhelpful, get the TA instead.
