Comment:

Dr. Kaur is one of the nicest teachers at benedictine and moves through the content at a good pace but Labs were downright useless and and tedious but counted for a good part of the grade. Do the homework(its a lot) as the weekly quizzes are based solely on them. Study guides were extremely helpful for her exams.

Comment:

Dr. Kaur was a wonderful lady but an average teacher. She had an accent that was hard to get used to, and she tried her best to teach us but I found the class very difficult. However, she makes the tests really easy because she doesn't believe in hard tests. So, it is relatively easy to earn a good grade. She is always willing to help her students

Just ask her to workout the problems on the white board. Will give extensions on quizzes and labs. Homework is a lot but is graded based on completions. Always ask for extra credit.

She is not very good at explaining calculus. If you are a math major take someone else. Her tests are very hard, but she is an easy grader. The homework will take you half your life to complete. The labs are very hard but if you see her she will help you. It's hard to understand what she is trying to explain. If you're an easy learner than take her

i took her for discrete math, shes and amazing teacher and a reasonable grader. taking notes and paying attention is important in her class. she made math fun and told us exactly what we need to know to pass the class, i wish she taught more math classes because she i love the way she teaches and if you need help she goes out of her way to do so.

I took Calculus with this teacher. My failure was because I had forgotten too much math prior to taking the class. Compared to other cal classes I have taken and successfully passed, I think that the weakness is actually with Benedictine's approach to teaching math (labs & etc) compared to a more traditional approach.

You really only need to go when you take a test or when she gives note sheet. Dont walk out on her because she gets very mad but other than that the class was easy and shes an okay teacher

In lecture, she's a snooze. In her office, she's a life-saver. She tends to be absent-minded, which has its benefits and its costs. Not my favorite, but I do like her.
