Unorganized! This professor had a CLEAR syllabus that he did not follow. 2 case studies were assigned and he decided to dismiss one of them ON THE DUE DATE without any explanation as to why and refused to give even a partial grade for completing the assignment. Very boring and blah personality. No interaction at all!

I took Prof. Henley for abnormal psych online. The class was organized well and pretty easy. Exams are open book but they are tricky. A lot of reading and 2 case studies are assigned. Textbook not needed but you do need to buy the code for online access. Would take again!!

I would take Professor Henley again for PSY 210. This course was an easy A. Test are upfront and quizzes are passable! The first couple weeks of class homework is heavy, but it's easy. Lectures are boring, unorganized, and not really useful for test or quizzes, he expects students to participate and engage in discussion. Nice guy though.

Awful personality for the msot part. The lectures long, and made me want to sleep. He is not helpful, and his quizzes are VERY specific where you would have to memorize every, single detail of the textbook. The only good thing about his class is that the quizzes on pearson is easy, and all his tests are take-home. It's an easy A.

Mr. Henley is a fantastic teacher. When taking his class you REALLY need to review. My classmates and I found easier if we all studied together. Mr. Henley is an interactive teacher by actually talking to the class and letting us explain/teach. His quiz's + tests are brutal but you still learn a lot in his class regardless.

Does not believe in extra credit. His tests are insanely hard. I have gotten D's and sometimes C the whole semester if i was lucky. Normally I am an A, B student. He's very boring, "teaches" right form the book. I barley learned anything this semester. DO NOT take if you are looking for a fluff class. He can have a quick temper. Dont take.

Mr. Henley was really nice. This class is so hard though. Ive always been strong in psychology, until I took this class. His take home tests are hard because we teach ourselves from the textbook and they aren't what he believes to be the "best" answer. In class it was like a therapy session-not what I paid for. Only teacher for this class though.

I have never been so disregarded by a professor in my entirely three years and any university. When i needed to speak with him, i was pushed aside. it's also a big "NO" in the psych field to discuss personal diagnoses of students. I would NEVER recommend.

Prof. Henley is a very nice guy but his class is tough. Be prepared to read the ENTIRE textbook. Weekly quizzes that each cover a chapter and four take home tests. Lectures are interesting if you've got a class that participates. Spend lots of time on the tests and read the chapter before every quiz and the class is doable even enjoyable.

He is a very nice and funny man with a passion for psychology. Although his intentions were good, the classroom conduction had ethical violations. Students were free to discuss disorders they were personally diagnosed with. This constitutes as "self-disclosure" and highly frowned upon in the psychology profession.

I would not recommend this professor for online course. no extra credit assignments, and the important aspect are presented at the end of the course (how its developed an diagnosed)He is inflexible which is important considering its an online class. The student forums were interesting. It may have been the impersonal aspect of it , but i vote NO!

Nice guy but difficult quizzes every week, sometimes two a in one week, only good news is there are take home exams, lectures are boring. the main thing is you have to really study each chapter in his class to pass quizzes, so time consuming!! would not take again.

I took Professor Henley for 4 classes at DCCC and learned quite a bit. I enjoyed his class though by no means was he easy, he pushes you to your limit and I work harder in his classes than any of my other classes.Getting an A from him was worth the effort, I highly recommend him

Knows alot about his feild but lacks the ability to teach.. If you can give out scantron sheets everyother class for tests and quizs anyone could be a teacher.. Lecture about unimportant things that doesnt reflect in the material that is graded. No guidance with in class just overall disapointed. Would not take another class with him

Had him for Abnormal. If you miss less than the amount of days per week you have him he adds a full letter grade to your final. He was very clear in explaining the Disorders. On a bad note, his class was kind of sketchy ethics wise. Students were welcome to discuss their issues which is a big no no if entering the psych profession.

This was a challenging class, but it was the best class I have ever taken at DCCC. He truly cared about all his students and always willing to talk to you. All tests are take home and easy if you try before hand and ask questions, office hrs are best to go to him. Quizzes aren't bad if you read the chpt n do the extra q's n listen in lecture!

Very easy online class, you just have to complete weekly assignments. The only minor thing I disliked about his online class is that he frequently added weekly forums after he posted syllabus but he did post additional forums well in advance.

Henley is a good teacher, test are all take home and will require some time. Follow the syllabus and stay on top of the chapter readings he quiz at the end of each week on the chapter material. If you follow along from the start of his class you can get an A. No extra credit, just stay on top of your work and you will do well. Learned alot loved it
