Comment:

This class was horrible. She was unclear about her expectations, handed out bad grades for no reason, and contradicted herself whenever I tried to talk to her. I had to do all the readings, attended every class, and talk in every one to get a good grade. Too much of a struggle for a supposedly easy class with easy readings.

Comment:

While I do not intend on majoring in anthro, she made SOAN102 great. She is always willing to meet with students outside of class and seems to really understand her students. The research project, while difficult, is spread out through the semester so not too bad. Do the reading, embrace the class, and you'll do fine. She is a phenomenal teacher!

This woman is the devil. I had an 8:20 with her and she made us all wear nametags so she could put people on the spot the first week. Huge research project with which she gave minimal help. Extremely hard grader, even though her tests are easy. do. not. take. this. class. shows heavy favoritism. Wanted to minor but am not after having her

She tried to help but it never seemed good enough. Like i went to plent meeting and ask what to do on my assignments and i would do them but rarely get better than a C. A few D's. But she did offer you the option to redo them sometimes. And she is in class everyday and takes attendance and will email you if you do not go.

Wehrer is a pretty easy teacher as long as you can deal with comments about the cold Hamilton weather every single class. Class is interesting but gets old after a while. Generally straightforward and simple

I absolutely love her. She emphasizes improvement, so won't give you As at the beginning of the semester, but is extremely approachable and an all around nice woman. Also is really clear - writes everything on the board rather than just lecturing. TAKE HER CLASS!

Anthro. was interesting, but definitely got boring with her. It's not too hard if you do all the reading, but she grades hard- everything needs to be exactly her way. She is very good with extra help and likes when you talk in class. She is a bit spacey sometimes though.

If you do the readings you can participate in class and then the class is great and she's easy. if you're lazy, your grades will reflect it and class will be boring and taking this class is a waste of your time. She's very sweet and i really learned from her.
