Dr. A made a very daunting class enjoyable. Lots of reading involved and lecture heavy but the material is challenging enough that it never becomes dry. Had a few quizzes (bottom 2 scores are dropped) a midterm, presentation, term paper, and final. Presentation is easy if you find a topic you enjoy. Same goes for the paper. WOULD recommend!

Ancient Greek Philosophy runs in her blood! She knows her stuff! Not going to lie, the concepts can be hard to grasp at first but ask questions! Go to class or else good luck trying to teach yourself PreSocratic Philosophers, Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle. She is very sweet and intelligent!

Only professor to teach this topic. If you are a phil major you have to take her. If not, I would not take this course. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle are hard regardless. Dr. A knows her stuff and is very helpful. Her tests are super HARD. She tries to confuse students by having multi questions that look the same. Mid term and Final BEWARE!

Dr. A is a fantastic professor! She is more than happy to give extra help if you need it. She's an extremely caring person and makes her expectations as well as grading criteria crystal clear. There is a heaving reading load but you don't have to purchase any books. She makes the reading materials available on blackboard.

She is an excellent professor, though she rarely teaches modern philosophy. She is an accessible lecturer, though some basic familiarity with the treading is required. Doing a baseline amount of work is necessary for passing the course; active and interested students should have no problems.

Super easy course. You have reading assignments before every class session, but they're easy. You WILL need your books. Just go to class, engage in conversation. Very understandable. Explains everything very well and makes class interesting. Just go to class and do the work, she doesn't ask for much. Easy A!

Excellent professor! Very helpful, always available to answer students' questions. Great communication and loves what she does. open-minded, Respects different viewpoints. NOT an anti-America nutcase like most philosophy professors. I strongly recommend professor Aganostopolis.

She's amazing, very informed in ancient Greek philosophy. She's just a wealth of information, and she gives students' questions just enough time to clarify but not let them take over the class time.
