Everyone believes that she is the HARDEST professor, which, is not fully true. Her main focus is that her students leave the course with a greater knowledge of child development. If you want to do well in her classes, stay on top of the readings, come prepared, review, and GO TO CLASS! if you do all those things, you will have no problem passing!

She's a good professor, but I hate her weekly quizzes and MAA paper.She grades super hard, and pick on every grammars. Even if your paper make sense, if she doesn't get it, she'll mark you down on your paper.The only way to pass her class is do all the readings, read the textbook twice and may three times, take good notes, and study everything.

Expect to read the entire textbook and memorize everything. She grades pretty harsh on your writing and exams.2 written exams about 10 essays and the final is everything we learn from day 1, also essay exam. Quizzes every week,SO READ OR YOU WILL NOT PASS, don't expect an easy A. No one really get an A, unless you love reading and writing.GOOD LUCK

Awesome teacher. You really learn a lot in this class! GO TO CLASS! attendance IS mandatory and she makes you sign in. If you are in class to take notes, and you study those notes then you will do amazing on the tests. There is a quiz at the beginning of every chapter, and those same questions are on the test! AWESOME TEACHER

Honestly, she is a great teacher. She grades really tough, though. She really knows her materials, however she does not do a good job in letting her students know what they did wrong and how to improve their grades. Overall, I enjoy her classes but be prepare for her exams as they are really difficult.

Wonderful professor!She is very informative.There are chapter quizes online every week, do NOT miss any of them, they are straight out of the text! One paper, must be perfect, but she has you turn in sections at a time to ensure youre doing fine.Essay questions on tests are easy just need to study the text and your notes. Work hard and get an A.

This professor grades incredibly hard. Writing is a big deal to her and the research paper that she requires you to write must be perfection or you will not receive a good grade. Her exams are passable if you study the materials consistently. Her final is the longest and hardest exam of all time. She presents the materials well but she's tough.

This course is hard, yes, but be glad at least one course at Fresno State is there to challenge you. However, Professor Reid is not good at all. She makes herself unavailable to students, is not willing to help you when you have a problem. She grades harshly. If you do not change things according to her personal liking she will fail you. AVOID HER!

Dr. Reid's classes are not easy! Lots of reading and studying is required to do well on her exams. She will challenge you, and as a child dev. major you NEED that! She is kind and will help you on assignments. She really knows her stuff about CD theories! There are 3 exams (including final), 1 paper, 1 quiz, 1 blog entry, & some extra credit.

Dr. Reid is a fabulous teacher! I love the way she teaches, she is very informative, and connects the material to real life by examples. Her tests were not to difficult if you pay attention, take notes, and read through the book. This class is not a breeze by, but not impossible either. You will earn your grade.

Kathie is a wonderful teacher! She knows her stuff and can explain it well. The structure of the class is magnificent. If you come to class, listen, take notes, and at least skimm through the reading, you will do well in her class. I don't think she asks too much of her students, though others might disagree. I highly recommend Kathie Reid!

oh man....this class was hard. I was very stress during the entire semester. Her test are crazy!!! she is nice but I hate that she does not take other people's opinions. She is not willing to lower her standers. I will never take a class with her again. She grades hard. Man she is so picky on the grading. Studying for her test was killing me..

She is a great teachet, but man she puts you to work. During the semester I was very stressed because of her tests. In this class you better read alot and memorize the text because the test are essay questions. Man am glad I took this class already it was a pain. However she is a nice teacher that , just wants you to learn the material. Good Luck!

She is a nice helpful teacher, but man she puts you to work alot...you have to read a lot and her test are very hard. she wants you to memorized all the material. Make sure you are ready for the test she will make you write 5 essays and 6 short answers man that was crazy!
