Had her for intro to gender.Make sure u read & do study guides it really does help! She's a great professor, I enjoyed the class..it's stuff u already know but makes u look @ it in a diff way so u shud do pretty well in this class. She gives quizzes randomly so u have to read.Test are mc, shrt answer,essay(nt a typical essay)do the SG pay attention

Comment:

I took her class online over the summer. A lot of reading and writing is involved, so you have to be prepared for that. There are two midterm exams and a cumulative final exam. Each book chapter has a quiz. The discussion boards are a large part of your final grade. She is a good teacher and wants you to do well. I would recommend taking her class.

Comment:

I had her for intro to socio. She was a nice teacher and was passionate about her subject. However, I had an A all semester (92) and after I failed the cumulative final, my grade dropped to an 88. She would NOT give me an A. If you have perfect attendance, she adds 3 points onto your final average- so it was some-what my fault.

She is very enthusiastic and it definitely shows in class. She keeps class interesting by showing videos and using up to date info that are relevant to her students. Her quizzes are great ways to prepare for the test and along with the discussion boards help boast grades. She is very nice and willing to help students. Definitely recommend!

I have had many classes with her. She is an awesome teacher. She is a little slow getting papers back to you, but all of her classes I have done very well in. She is great about meeting with you outside of class. She is usually always available when I want to talk to her. Just stop by her office, more than likely she will be there no appt. needed.

Good teacher. stats is hard. good luck no matter who you have. Assignments are to help you learn so do them. willing to help students any time. a little distracted now that she has her first baby and or tenure.

She is a very energetic teacher. Stats is not a fun class, but she made the material easy to learn. Three tests, and about 10 or so quizzes. 2-3 projects due but she tells you with instructions how to do them all. Very easy class if you put any effort at all in to it. Overall great teacher.

She's a great teacher!! I loved her class. You can really tell she enjoys what she teaches, and that makes the class a lot of fun. I would recomend this class to anyone.
