I took an drawing class with him years ago and he was great. He really helped me refine my technique. I didn't have any confidence in my skills at the time and he really helped me gain confidence. I went on to take more art classes and ultimately attain a degree in fine art. I don't think that would have happened had I not taken his class.

I've taken 3 classes with Mr. D and I have learned tons from each one of them. He is very egotistical and hard when it comes to grading but if you put the time and work into the class you will be graded fairly. It's clear he loves his job and can hold his ground on his point of view. Way to go Mr.D, keep sharing your love of art with the world!

Comment:

Great Professor who is very informative, and has great knowledge in this feild. Grades hard and expects the same effort from students that he puts into the class. I reccomended taking at least one of Mark's classes.

Comment:

This man is a horrible teacher who's irrationally, overly inflated ego completely negates any slight amount of aptitude he may have for art. If you are even slightly talented at drawing this man gets jealous and feels threatened thus causing him to senslessly berate you and your work. Difficult to deal with rationally.

Mr. Davison is a HUGE asset to Clinton Community. I knew nothing about art before taking his class, and since taking it I have thought of changing my major. He is enthusiastic, imaginative, and easily approachable. Thank God there are still professors out there who still believe in what they teach. Thanks for making me believe again Mr. Davison!

Comment:

This teacher is a kick ass teacher who knows what he is talking about and teaches it well. Not only does he dedicate his time to his students, he brings a sense of life and enthusiasm to his classroom. Who ever degrades him as a teacher or as a person, re-evaluate.
