He is very entertaining and smart! If you do not buy a book just have a thumb drive to get slides directly from him or through email. If you study the slides well, take notes, and most importantly listen to lectures you should get an A. There are 4 multiple choice test and you drop your lowest. He is an awesome lecturer. Take him!

Gordon is really cool and funny...nice guy & always willing to help his students...makes anthro easy to understand ...gives no hw...tests are straight forward and right from his lectures...drops lowest score...he even emails you slides and study guide b4 tests...great teacher...take him

Hilarious and extremely smart. Probably the best teacher I've had thus far at El Camino. You will really only use the book to study at home, in class he does slides and everything on the tests are on the slides.

Prof Gordon is very helpful. If you e-mail him a question, he will thoroughly explain the material. No homework. His tests are the easiest tests you will ever find in your life; however, you need to study yourself with notes and book since the prof talks about so many stuff that you won't need for the test. Mr. Gordon is hottttt!!!! I think so anywayz. He is really funny and a big dork, but I think everyone has a little inner dork in them. You must take down all notes, not much homework. Tests are fair, he gives some easy answers. He's really funny and a great teacher to take for 3 hour lectures. Yes he does sometimes go off on tangents. Sexy!!

He's a nice guy, and the one time he want off on a tangent about phys anthro, he was interesting. But he didn't seem to know Archeaology at all. Didn't really learn anything in this class about Arch., except that Archeaologists use Pick-axes and how to play Roshambo...

He is pretty chill at first.Tries to add humor by watching south park but the class lacks more lectures. Often goes out of context to talk about how "****" things are. Offers no extra credit,however, tests are curved. Lacks clarity, most of the class did bad on the first essay. Only fun for anthro majors,he is very biased toward their work. Hes ok.

He is utter sexiness. The thing about Gordon, is that he is a very laidback kinda guy. As long as you prepare adequately for the test, you can get a definite A. He doesn't mind absenses as long as you let him know.

Whoever said he was hot obviously has a thing for oompa lumpas cause Gordon ISN'T REMOTELY HOT! He constantly drifts off topic and never covers what he ought to. Read the book to prepare for the test and do homework for another class during his interminable ramblings about how "cool and intelligent he is".

Cool person, but this ****-bag tries super hard to be cool, though he's really not. He's just a fat nerd who loves to brag about his wealth and his dad's yacht clubs. His humor is pleasant as first, but quickly becomes irritating. The best part of this****is that he loves to put all the "trouble-makers"/"hooligans" on spot if they are talking...

The class itself is hard to take interest in at times, seeing as the subject matter feels dry. He makes it a bit less painful by adding in his humor to it all. Unless you are an anthropology major it would be hard to get into the class I suppose. You get the grade you deserve, so study regularly if you want something higher end.
