I really liked Dr. Harris. He cares about his students very much, and although he is a bit monotone, he can get very excited about what he's talking about, which is kind of cute. He's VERY willing to help outside of class, and will even helped a student for 2 hours on a Friday to help him catch up. Very fatherlike; highly recommend

He is really nice and always greets you out of the classroom. BUT, his lectures feel sooo longgg. He talks and talks and talks. His voice is so low and passive that sometimes I feel like he's not saying anything important. Also, taking notes in the class is hard because he will write EVERYTHING he says, including the "uhmms" and "eh." I'm serious.

I personally was not fond of his teaching style. His notes are very word-centered, which is good for some people, but wasn't the best for me for a chemistry class. He is very open to helping outside of class though, and cares about his students a lot. Just not really my style.

Dr. Harris is a great guy, he is just to smart to be a good teacher. If you are good at teaching yourself, he can be a great professor, but if you need more attention, steer clear

Dr. Harris seems to really like what he does and is more than happy to help you outside of class. His notes are really good, but his tests can be pretty hard. I would take him again since I don't have to rely on the book.

Dr. Harris is super friendly! And it's so cute how he wiggles when he talks. Everyone should laugh at his jokes! He's really good at explaining things, and I like how he used students to illustrate concepts such as bonding and conformations.

one of the nicest guys ever. Blindingly intelligent and has a razor wit if you pay attention, and his door has always been open when i needed to talk to him, not just about class, but also when i needed personal advice.

I mean seriously...I agree, "boring, canned lectures." I tried hard (though it is an easy grade), always went to class, got an A and STILL could not find any redeeming value in the class.

gives awesome notes. Very clear with what he expects and how he grades. Teaches much and expects more. The people who think otherwise obviously didnt try very hard and/or go to class often enough. I mean, seriously...

Dr. Harris is an excellent professor. He is understanding and realistic in his grading procedures. If you want a professor that gives all A's, don't choose Dr. Harris, go to CCAC. Plus, he is my advisor and he does not like Audry Uknis either.
