Weekly online homework, 3 midterms, a final, ad group/individual project. Has a little extra credit but definitely a challenging class. Nice guy and okay class as long as you put in a lot of time. There are much easier teachers if you want that but is a solid choice if you want to learn a lot and work hard.

Judd's condescending professor. Will treat you like you're dumb for asking questions in class and will make you feel bad if you choose anything other than accounting for your major.

Weekly individual/group quizzes and 3 midterms + final. There are also several Excel group projects. He expects you to know everything before the lecture and often refuses to give extra help when needed. Can also be very condescending and will get agitated when the class doesn't understand something. He isn't the worst, but I would not take again

Professor Judd is a solid choice for accounting. He does his best to ensure that his students have the necessary material to do well on exams; however, his tests are tough and will require a lot of studying (there are three midterms and a final). Make sure to do the extra credit and get ahead of both the individual and group projects.

Judd is overall a super cool guy but he definitely has high expectations. Expects you to come to class and know your stuff. Lots of quizzes (group), and a couple tests that are pretty challenging. Gives reviews with details of what each question will encompass. Holds review sessions. Group project and a 2-3 min oral.

he offers 7% of your grade as extra credit! group quizes weekly, a few test, but honestly not that hard and you do not hav to really go to class. a few projects but not too bad. but he will convince you or try to at least to be a accounting major

Judd is a cool guy and loves accounting. His class is pretty tough because you basically need to teach yourself due to the boring lectures. BUT, if you go into his class knowing you need to work for a good grade makes it not seem as bad. I would recommend for sure, just make sure you study and keep up on the homework.

Judds an awesome dude. loves to golf and lose to teach accounting. class is pretty challenging with lots of homework, but what can you expect? has real life examples he will bring up to keep things interesting. provides study sessions before each test where he will basically tell you how to do the problem - you just have to remember on the test..

Professor Judd is a nice guy and is willing to help students. The class was pretty difficult and lots of studying was required, but thats expected with an accounting class. 8 quizzes were given (lowest 2 dropped) and 3 tests with one final exam and group project. Lots of opportunities for extra credit which really helped out my final grade.

pretty boring teacher, and tends to read off his slides. there were quizzes and three exams. the first exam wasn't bad but tends to get more difficult with each one. theres also a group project which is time consuming but he grades easily.

Tests are difficult, but he makes it as easy at it can be. Has his own book with all his pp slides in it, and this has all the info you need. He gives handouts and review sheets to help you prepare for exams. Judd is passionate about accounting and wants you to major in it. I found him fair and understanding, but you have to work for a good grade.

If you don't understand what you are reading in the book (which the majority of my class was lost), you are not going to do well. I went in for office hours and all he did to answer my questions was point at the book, not understanding that I needed a different explanation. Judd is not helpful and speaks down to students who are confused.

Judd's class is pretty hard. He just reads off the powerpoint slides and doesn't really explain the concepts. The tests are pretty hard if you don't get accounting and he tells the classes that they won't do that well on them. Lots of quizzes. Some extra credit offered. Probably one of the harder accounting teachers.

Prof. Judd is a really nice guy, and he really teaches the material clearly. I feel like I actually learned a lot about accounting, and he really cares about his students' success. That being said, he is definitely one of the harder accounting professors. I never read the textbook though, so I wouldn't say getting that is a must.

I'm not gonna lie. So here how it goes: if you're REALLY into accounting, take his class. but if you're only taking it for your business component, you'd probably be better off with someone else. Wouldn't say he "teaches" Acct 201, he kind of rephrasing what written on the slides. He tells you what's gonna be on exams though, which weren't easy.

great professor overall. he makes you work for your grade, but he is very smart and is a cool guy. for every 1 assignment he has, he provides 2 or 3 ways to help complete it. and he tells it like it is and doesn't sugar coat anything, which sometimes offends the little snowflake college kids which is funny.

Mark is one of the best professors I have ever taken. I have established a great connection with him from the get-go, so he is very willing to help me succeed. Do the reading, do orion, do the homework, go to office hours, and practice outside of class. He knows who gets it and who doesn't. He'll be there for you, you need to seek him though.

Work load is a lot! homework multiple times a week, 10 quizzes, 3 midterms and multiple projects. If you "get" accounting you will do fine but otherwise prepare for a loooong semester
