Moderately difficult class, partly bc the subject is so in dept, partly bc Professor Young doesn't want under-educated & non-interested people continuing their education in the health care industry & making stupid mistakes that can cause serious harm or death; frankly I agree. I did well in the class. You just have to study and want to learn.

I have never had a worse professor in my life. She does not know how to answer questions clearly, she does not email back, she does not teach. She prints out the books notes and doesn't know how to use technology so when she sends you links you can't open them and she says it is your fault. DONT TAKE HER

Not useful, her power point not clear, not organize. Although she curves grade, a lot of C, some of D, some B, a few A. She has been high school teacher, she doesn't understand college student situation, so not helpful for student college.

What bothered me the most was that she would get SO off topic during lecture that you wouldn't even learn anything. She curves fairly, but her tests are 100 questions and extremely detailed when her lectures are anything but. Will not take her again. Personally, she's a nice lady but not very helpful.

She is always right, never wrong if you correct her. She gives you a list of short answer questions to study but can change them "because she has the right to". You try to ask questions but she gets angry and bothered. She reached by asking questions all the time and gets mad if the class doesn't answer but also gets mad if someone answers and it's wrong. I definitely do not recommend her unless you really want a challenge and to be bored.

She is so annoying. Talks on and on about pointless information. Her tests are hard, and labs are boring and pointless. She has other students grade short answer quizzes, but always curves test. Shes not the worst, but I probably would not recommend her.

She knows what she's talking about, but she's one of the most annoying professors I've had. She randomly starts yelling "YOU FOLLOW?!" and "YES NO MAYBE?!". She babbles about things. Her short answer tests aren't really fair because other students grade them. If she didn't require attendance, I would skip class and teach myself. She's too annoying.

Prof. Young is fun, interesting, and enthusiastic teacher. She is very involved in the class, unlike other professors, very helpful! I was a bit confused in the beginning of semester about her teaching style but picked up quickly and got an A in A&P II with her. I recommend!

She is a great professor. She's passionate about teaching and she's always available to answer questions. Tests and lap practicals can be challenging, but she always curves tests. If you study what she tells you and put the time in, you'll do well.

Helpful, easy to talk to. I always went to her after class or in labs if i had any questions and she would answer them. Tests consistis of 2 parts, a short answer and a multiple choice. She posts 10 short answer questions online and chooses 5 for the test, then theres a multiple choice 100 questions consits of some diagrams but mostly questions.

Comment:

She is one of the most interesting professors you'll meet. She honestly cares about the success of her students, and is very wise. Organization is not necessarily required, only genuine interest in the subject. Mistakes on tests are nothing to worry about, as those who learn the material get the grades they deserve in the end.

She rambles on about nothing and is VERY disorganized. She didn't know what we were ever suppose to do in lab. She did have some interesting stories but most of them pertained to how great the Atkins diet is?! Personally I wouldn't take her again if I had the choice.

Professor Young is a very smart teacher and knows her stuff. She is very nice and outgoing...but...she is very unorganized, she told us the wrong information to study for a test twice, forgot to give us quizzes throughout the semester so she piled them ontop of us the week of finals. Grades on a curve, but it is deserved b/c of mistakes on tests

I love Prof. Young!!! She is great and easy going. She has a great personality and makes science fun. I always look forward to her class to hear new stories that tie in with our lesson. I look forward to taking Biology with her in the fall.

Professor Young has a great sense of humor and really loves bio. She makes the class so incredibly simple it's hard to believe your your learning anything. However she does leave out a little bit of the books content (but I don't think anyone would complain about that). She is not big on attendance, she loves to help and she makes it fun! Take her!

Comment:

Young is is so funny and is a great teacher. You have 4 tests and the last test erases your lowest grade. She gives a great curve on all her tests, they are 50 points each and she gives u a pretest before the test and all those answers are on the tests. All you do is go to class and take notes and have 4 test. She is amazing! Def take her!
