This man is nuts. Hilarious. His teaching style is disorganized, though. He'd end class early at least once a week. Although I made As, I would not take him again because I don't feel like I have mastered the material. He grades fairly if not more lenient than fair. If you want to pass, take him. If you want to understand theory, take Kulma.

I love. love. love. Dr. Hughes. He's THE ONLY professor at WU who cares so much for his students. I adore him. He makes sure you understand theory and makes time for you to learn it after class if you need it. He doesn't like to fail his students so all you need to do is try really hard and you'll pass. Greatest man I've ever met.

(Sorry, can't remember the section name). Hands down, one of the best teachers I've ever had, ever. I learned so much about Theory and I knew nothing about it prior to having him as a teacher. Very patient with those willing to learn (and who try). Can't say enough about how much I learned from Dr. Hughes.
