Limited to this paragraph but he expects you to know the material before going in. He gets answers wrong on his own problems. The exams are difficult compared to other teachers'& there is alot of hw online, while other classes use the book. The man can't even match his clothes, this should tell you alot about a person. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER.

He doesn't care about teaching the students math as much as just talking about his notes, for an extremely long time. Also he explains everything, and I mean everything, but most of it doesn't pertain to the actual example he's doing. Woe be to you if you ask a question since that will probably eat up the remaining class time.

He is a really nice person but he just isn't a very good teacher. He loses himself in the lectures and tends to get the answers wrong on his own questions. The homework is done online, which means that its graded. This means that you could get a "F" on homework.

WORST MATH TEACHER EVER! -His accent makes it hard to understand what he says -Very long-winded at unnecessary issues -When he tries to explain a problem again, nobody can understand it -His lectures were extremely disorganized even we pay lots of attention -He seems to be not interested in teaching by keeping glancing at clock Speechless! :(

His latino accent made the curriculum easier for me to understand. I don't speak spanish. He gave me the tools to get an A by the end of the semester. What people call "unnecessary" notes, is him explaining the theory behind what we are doing. He will gladly stop to answer questions. Grades generously if he sees effort. Great teacher!

He is very long winded about the same tiny little thing. I am currently taking his Algebra 2 class and he takes up long chunks of time explaining the same thing over and over. Today he literally asked if we had questions, no one raised a hand, then he went on saying, let me clarify it for you then. Also doesn't trust the mymathlab we use.

Mr Landeros is a nice teacher, but not very helpful. If you understand the topic a little and do all of the the Aleks work you should be fine. But when you ask a question he doesn't directly answer it, he dances around it leaving you right where you started.

Not a fantastic teacher- BUT not the worst teacher either. This will be a difficult class for someone who has average math skills, be prepared to spend A LOT of time doing the work. The final is worth 40% of your grade. Don't expect to get your graded homework and tests back anytime soon, I got my graded work back in the last 2 weeks of class =/.

He is a good teacher and willing to help. Yes he has an accent but it's really not that bad. I thought his test were on the easy side. He will make mistakes on the board but its nothing unmanageable. Bottom line is pay attention in class, do the homework, study and you'll pass the class. Accent or not I enjoyed his class

This was THE worst class I have ever taken. This teacher was horrible, couldn't back up his reasons for wrong test corrections. Doesn't even know what notes he's writing. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

I'm pretty good at math and looked forward to start calculus, however this has got to be the worst class I have ever taken. The work load isn't much but he is so disorganized and more than half the time we take irrelevant notes. I would not recommend for anyone.

You will see Mr. Landeros has extremely polar comments here. That's because he is horrible at teaching Algebra 2 to non-math students (nursing major, etc) but is THE BEST teacher for anyone bound for a math-related career (comp. science. engineering). Don't take him if Algebra 2 is the last math of your career. Otherwise, he is your man!!!!

His workload is ridiculous. It ends up being over 300 problems every two weeks. I honestly feel like I've learned nothing from his class, despite this crippling workload. It's all about rushing to get things done. He doesn't really lecture, either. I have a 2 1/2 hour class with him and most of that is spent trying to make a dent in the workload.

THE WORST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS MAN. Doesn't understand the material nor does he understand how to teach. I took Algebra 2 my Sophomore year in High School and just simply placed low during testing. I dropped the class because there was no structure to this class and he was just awful. I will NEVER recommend him.
