She seems to be a nice lady but is a horrible teacher. She literally sits and reads the powerpoint slides to you in class (pointless). Also for her tests she does MC (with two of these are correct, none correct, format). Went to her for help her advice was "take the downward spiral and make it an upward one." Don't take this class if you can.

This class take so much time. Takes time away from studying more important things. Don't pull an all-nighter or you will fail.

Be prepared for the tests, 90% of the questions have the answer choices of "all of these are correct", "none of these are correct", and "two of the answers are correct", she will misspell answers, tricky wording. Be prepared to do a ton of memorizing. Cumulative Final will KILL you. Very difficult class. Stay away.

Dr. Gorman make this class much harder than it needs to be. During her lectures, she sits in front of the class and reads the powerpoint. Her tests are extremely confusing. The comprehensive final is just outrageous.

Seriously do not understand why people find her so difficult. Go to class and the test is straight off the powerpoint. It's only the people who wanted to just study the test bank who fail.

She is a nice lady but does not help you at all. I went in to get help on the final and she told me to be prepared to drop a letter grade, and then just told me to study. Her tests ares to hard because she deliberately uses trick wording and confusing answer choices. If you don't have to take this class then don't.

I was skeptical about this class because of the reviews I read. However I find her class extremely easy, the tests are literally straight from the PowerPoint she gives you and the homework is extremely easy and not complicated. Take this class!

Lovely lady but the tests are impossible. She admits that she tries to trick people on the tests to prove that we know our stuff. However that just makes it more difficult, I would definitely say my other classes suffered because I spent so much time preparing for her tests.

Tests are not straight forward. The wording of questions is curious, and they are all multiple choice with None of these, some of these, or all of these as possible answers to most. You better know what every aspect of the topic and what it isn't as well.

VERY INTRESTING CLASS! study your butt off though for every test because the final is impossible and over a ton of information. Teacher is very nice and if you go to class she will notice. Powerpoints can be confusing and there is a ton of info but she offers extra credit opprtunities too.

She is a nice lady but I question whether she really knows what she's talking about. She still teaches the food pyramid, which is outdated. Not only this but the tests are ridiculous. Some of her test questions did not come from information we covered, and she tries to trick you with the test questions. The class was harder than it needed to be.

Most of the information she provided was inaccurate and outdated, she has this ever present apathetic attitude which doesn't help with the load of material in the course, which is also somewhat daunting. Her test questions are irellevant to the material despite her professing their correlation all the time. I definitely would recommend this class.

Nutrition Seminar for freshmen is a fun class! She is like our mom! Very nice and cares about students! You need to learn everything in the power point to do well on the tests! As our class meets once a week, I think it is doable, not too bad if you start learning the materials early!Very fair graders!I'm glad that I took this class!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU ARE A NUTRITION MAJOR. I took it wanting to learn more about nutrition (I'm a journalism major), but it's actually more like a science/chemistry class. Extremely boring. Tests are extremely hard and her questions try to trick you. Doesn't teach material well at all. Thanks for killing my GPA Dr. Gorman.

Dr. Gorman is such a nice lady! I learned so much from this class. At times I felt like I was doing more memorizing than actual real world application though. If you're looking for an "Easy A," don't take this class because it isn't a joke. It's hard, but not impossible. I was able to get an A with a lot of work!

Dr. Gorman is a great teacher and she is very funny, however the class is really difficult. To pass the tests you have to memorize the powerpoints which is ALOT of info to cover. I learned alot, but it is a very hard class.

This class is really hard. There is SO MUCH information. The final is cumulative. She does give a few options of extra credit but it does not help much. To get a decent grade for this class you really have to work your butt off and study constantly to get all the details for the tests. Because thats your only grade, tests. Really Boring class.

Boring Boring Boring. Reads straight off of powerpoints that you must memorize in their entirety to pass the tests. Tests are multiple choice, but a lot of them are trick questions. Do not take this class unless you have to.

Love this teacher. her class is boring, she talks about random things or reads off the slides. BUT if you are in a sorority, ROTC, or are an athlete she will love you just don't be rude.
