He was intelligent, fun, and good to work with. He taught me more in half a semester of stage craft than I learned in 7 years there. When I got injured and couldn't do the work, he still gave me credit for showing up. I think he was the best TD they had, and I'd been there a long time.

Max is a really cool guy but I DID NOT like him as a professor. His class was funny, but not fun. It was boring but you had to retain a lot. I think Max knows this though and somebody has to do the job. i think the most valuble thing an ACTOR will come away from Max's Tech class is a relationship with Max.

Learning a work ethic is what I learned most from Max's classes. I've taken this knowledge into my grad studies, and also everyday life. As a techer he's an asset to any department, and as an educator he is invaluable! Thanks Max!

Max is one of the BEST professors I have ever had and was instrumental in my decision to attaend garduate school after leaving NP in 2000. He offered me the best info on professional theatre and aided me in becoming a very good stage manager.
