Comment:
His exams are kinda based on HW but they can be heavy in concept. I find his lectures interesting but he does help out students even if they're struggling. For powers you definitely have to study a ton and understand the homework completely. Hard class.

Comment:
He is very unwilling to help and lack of manner. Lectures are very unstructured. In general, he has the tendency to boss around people and interfere into things that are none of his business. Very annoying guy. Always brags about the success of the department although it's going down.

He's a pretty good instructor. His exams are based on the homework which is due every day and he has great handouts which are new this semester. He works through the handouts with us in class and is open to questions.

I had Etezadi for a 300 and 400 level class. No structured lecture, daily homework (even if there is a test) and very vague about what to expect on difficult exams; he gives out lots of practice exams but refuses to go over any of the problems step by step. He is, however, very willing to help and answer questions.

Attendance is not mandatory, however, he checks daily to possibly boost your end of semester grade. NO structure to lecture or notes. DO NOT be afraid to ask questions.

Avoid like the plague. If you enjoy being told that you're an idiot when you ask for help, long interrogations about things that are none of the professor's business, and wasting time, then this is the class for you! If you are not a masochist with a high tolerance for boredom and wasted time, take something else.

Hard to understand and doesn't write on the board very much (not enough notes). Acts like all things are simple, but forgets its sometimes only simple for him.

So worried about semantics and other things, he rarely gets the point across in his lectures.
