Dr . G is probably one of the best professors I have had at CCSU for my MBA. He details in his syllabus what to expect with due dates for homework so there is no surprises. He's fair but pushes you to work to your capability. Very smart but also down to earth. If you have the opportunity to take his classes make sure to do it.

Professor Gendron is a great professor! I am currently taking his online MIS 201 class. If you slip up once or do bad on one exam it really does have a major impact on your grade. It is a lot of reading but if you take notes and highlight while reading the book you should do ok in this class. He emails back very fast which is a huge plus!

Professor Gendron is a good guy and smart former IT professional. He really cares about students and will give as much help as anyone asks for. Despite his helpfulness, this class is Very Difficult. Hardest class I've ever taken, harder than MIS 361 with Jarmozko. Be prepared to contribute in your group, and give up your weekends! Work hard.

Dr. G used Blackboard to the fullest. He provides video lectures (powerpoint w voice), weekly quizzes, blog entries and exams. His requirements include a lot of reading. If you put in the effort, you'll learn a lot and feel good at the end. Sorry, you must read the textbook! Hook your laptop to a TV for lectures. Good for busy students.

Dr G is a great professor. He knows his stuff and authored several books on the subject including the one we used in this class. He keeps students informed of any job opportunities or extra curricular activities throughout the semester and is available if students have questions or concerns. Down to earth, funny guy that seems to enjoy teaching.

Dr. G is the best professor I've ever had. Easily the hardest class of the major. If you want an A, I promise you will work for it. The project is a semester long project that isn't easy. But taking it seriously you'll learn more from this class than any other. Always there to help, literally always. Would take the class again. Take it serious.

Took this class online, quizzes every week based on Learning Objective videosbook. Watch the videosread the book and you will do well. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint projects, take a while to complete but they offer step by step practices that are literally just like the actual graded project. If you take your time you will do well.

I liked the guy but the workload is huge. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access projects that take forever. Quizzes every week. It's an Intro class but it seems like every professor has the same requirements. Every assignment is posted and completed on Blackboard. There is so much work you just want to give up. 10+ hrs work outside class every week.

If you are only taking this class because you need it, drop it and wait to be in a class with a better teacher. he does not listen to what you are saying and does not even generate the tests himself. he was talking about how poor we did on the midterm and basically told us there is no hope for the final. ill probably have to take this class again:(

Gendron is a great professor. Yes, there are quizzes once a week and assignments due Sunday nights but they aren't hard if you read the chapter. The class is straight out of the book and he makes it very clear what you need to know. Class consists of powerpoint lectures and sometimes an activity afterwards. Lots of extra credit and loves to help!

I took this class as a requirement for my major and I'm very glad I ended up in his course. He gives a good number or quizzes and online assignments but offers many chances for extra credit. His classes are typically very interesting and he has a great sense of humor. Not an easy course, but if you do the work you will do well

This course is very involved. Extremely helpful in learning what is really invovled in creating a business case as well as infrastructure. It is extremely helpful to have prior understanding of network and the cloud. Expect to spend a good chunk of your spare time in this course, especially if you are taking other courses as well.

This course may only be scheduled for 2 days a week, but this is a life consuming course. Forget all of your friends, forget about going out at night after class, this course will become priority number 1. Dr. G is very helpful and will meet as long as you schedule time, If you do bad on any of his exams you might as well drop the course.

This is the most excruciating course I've ever taken at CCSU. Professor Gendron is very helpful and meet with you upon request, however, this is the most time consuming course imaginable. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you have to go to learn and he has extra web sessions that you'll need to attend to stand a chance. Good luck, muahahahahahahahaha!

The class is tough and there is a lot of work in the group project. However, he is extremely helpful, and even comes on weekends to meet with his students. The course is a senior level class so it's obviously hard. Regardless, it will prepare you for grad school, and you will have fun with your group (if you get a good one). Excellent Experience
