Best science professor at chapman!! He's really enthusiastic about 335/336/350 bc that's where his interest is in (pharma), which is why he's moving to Rinker. If you get a chance to take him, do it!! Record his lectures and annotate your notes. His tests are hard but its verbatim from lecture. Book not necessary for tests but it is for the 10% HW.

BEST science professor I had at Chapman! Really great at explaining. Record his lectures and learn material from lecture and you will do great. Didn't have to read the book. He doesn't make you memorize since it's no use. Focuses on concepts. HIGHLY recommend him (at least for Biochem)!

Excellent class. It brought two years of science education into a cohesive whole. Besides that, Griffin is a really cool guy, gives good lectures, and offers lots of extra help. Even his lab was pretty good, or at least as good as a lab can be.

Fine Professor, nothing special, nothing annoying. Had him for a 3 hour lecture class during interterm. Got kind of boring, but any class would. Did NOT need the text book. He tried to make it sound like you might, but he also made it very clear that tests are only on stuff in his lectures. Be careful about buying a really expensive text book.

Wonderful teacher. Pretty zany, but he knows his stuff. DO NOT MISS LECTURE if only for the hilarious quotes. Tests aren't easy, but it's Biochemistry. If you wanted an easy subject, become an English major.

impatient, misguiding, only helpful during office hours after he had time to correct the wrong info he gave during lecture, tests fair and require a lot of studying but i learned more during study sessions with classmates than from him, seriously not good stuff

Griffen is one of those wacky science guys. His humor is only funny to science nerds, and i think it made the classs fun. To me this class was too simple and too basic but other than that the class was relatively bareable.

A very difficult subject and class, but a great professor. He is most likely a genious, and has a very deep understanding of chemistry. He is able to explain the material well, and help students understand if they try. Tests are very tough, but good studying will allow you to do well. Dr. Griffin is easily one of the best professors at Chapman.
