Great teacher. Super easy to get in touch with for questions so if you have questions do not hesitate to ask. Do your work ahead of time and class will be easy. Gives extra credit when he thinks you did a good job.

He is very quick to respond to ANY question. Just complete assignments on-time and you will have no issues. If you put extra effort forward he will reward you with extra credit points. Awesome instructor, and very helpful.

Took him for an online class and the amount of emails and voice recordings, which are 10-20 minutes long is just ridiculous. I read a comment from him to a student about her typos while he misspelled words. The voice recordings include unnecessary stories that unrelated to anything.

Took online English class. Mr. Hricik is a good teacher and very caring. He gives a lot of feedback on your work. If you listen to his voice audios that he sends via e-mail it will benefit you. He gives bonus points if you attempt and show him that you are trying.

His online class is very disorganized. Assignments are easy and he's a god guy, but had trouble finding the discussion boards for the first few weeks. If you can follow his train of thought go for it, but I recommend not taking an online class with him

Mr. Hricik is a great guy and really cares about what he is teaching, even though it's off-topic most of the time. He assigns a lot of small writing assignments more so than large ones. I liked it but I know some others didn't. With extra credit, I had over 100%. Go to class, and take advantage of his bonus opportunities! Easy A if you work.

Mr. Hricik is a great teacher. He may stumble off topic, and talk a lot about his Honda, but I learned a lot from him. There is a decent amount of homework, but most of it is done in class. So if you skip class, you will lose out on certain grades. He will let you make them up, but just show up for class, and you are almost guaranteed an A.

I took his class. He sends audio files that put me to sleep. Like, why does he take ten minutes to talk about nothing? For a composition professor, he's a terrible writer. His tests are hard, because he writes so sloppily.

Mr. Hricik has a very friendly and personable approach to teaching. Expect a lot of small, supplemental writing assignments rather than long papers. He often does extra credit assignments in class so participation is recommended. Incredibly helpful and fast to respond to questions via e-mail or text. If he teaches a course you need - take it.

Really great professor. I took the online class and he got back to me individually on every assignment through audio files. Really thorough - but he is a tough grader. I noticed he really likes it when you go beyond what he asked for. 6 pages? Make it 9. He encouraged interaction between classmates and made everything very clear.

Nicest guy. Easy to get an A if you just do what he asks and try. If you submit stuff early you may get bonus points. Textbook is only required for one or two assignments. Don't buy it. Rent it or borrow from a friend. I read maybe one chapter out of the whole book. Just make sure you show up for guest speakers.

He really is a great teacher and very clear about what you're supposed to be doing. But I've put a lot of hard work into everything I've done and nothing is good enough for him. He'll say either "not enough detail" "give me more". It's just annoying. Not saying I wouldn't recommend him as a teacher, but you better like detail.

Best teacher. If you do the work you'll get an A. Won't downgrade you because you turned in an assignment a day late. Appreciates every attempt to have good writing. Very helpful with misunderstood directions. Will email you back within a few hours. Best teacher ever!

I loved this man. He is so friendly and down to earth. I had him for creative writing and it was A LOT of work, so be prepared to write papers every night. I would highly recommend to take his class.

real good professor. easy A. must do work to pass the semester. very laidback, HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ENGLISH! attendance not mandatory, just make sure you do you work, 3 quizzes/exams whole semester. OVERALL BEST PROF. I HAD!
