Comment:

He takes points off your attendance grade for missed class. He lectures and says you need to know things but doesnt define them in the PowerPoint. He gets off topic and always has his classes early in the morning. His tests are long and cover 2-4 topics(chapters) that have 20-30 questions study guides each. He doesnt really teach.

I took him in Fall 2018. He takes 10 points off your attendance grade out of 50 if you miss a class. He takes attendance before class even starts. He cant teach that well and puts words in red that you need to know but will make you look it up and not define it in the PowerPoint. Study guides are somewhat helpful for exams but are very lengthy.

Comment:

Dr. Nosek brings the HEAT! He is a very tough grader! His courses are challenging to say the least and require a lot of studying. He will prepare you for graduate level work, gives the true college experience. I learned a lot from him and you will too if you truly engage in the lecture and the lab. Provides helpful study guides with feedback.

While he is very interested in the subject matter he teaches, you have to be equally interested in order to understand whats happening in class. The lectures are long and confusing. Some mini lab work, but not much. Assigned us a test on the last day of classes because he simple thought we could fit it in.

His classes are not easy and require a lot of studying. People posted that he explains nothing but he is VERY open to extra help and will answer endless questions. He is very specific about what he is looking for so follow guidelines exactly and you will get good marks on papers, lab reports etc.

Comment:

I had Dr. Nosek for Nutrition and I had a very positive experience. His study guides were a bit too lengthy for the test's content, but he explained things pretty well. He struck me as a kind and understanding person, and he even had opportunities to retake tests and to gain extra credit points. Overall great class.

Oh my word this man is the worst teacher I've ever had. He doesn't teach but his study guides are nearly 50 questions per chapter and each test is at least 3 or 4 chapters. I have never hated another human being more than I hate this man. He sucks at life pretty much.
