Extremely hard, if you are nervous about speaking, i.e. you think you will talk to fast or not be able to make eye contact, do not take him. You will lose pts but he will never work on these skills. Really emphasizes the outline of your speech. In general do not take if you are not a comm major.

If you are serious about comm he is a great teacher. There are pop quizzes often but they are easy if you do the reading. The reading isnt much and isnt bad but its expected to be done for every class. He is funny and interesting, however he doesnt put up with fooling around. If you like comm, you'll like his class.

Reardon is a funny guy. I liked going to his class. All the pop quizzes were pretty annoying though and his tests were really hard. You need to do all the reading and study really hard on the daily to do well in this class. He's really unaccomodating with missed class (excused or unexcused) so just go prepared to be tested daily on the readings

LOVE Dr. Reardon! He is very entertaining in class and really wants you to learn and understand the material. You do have to go to class and take notes but other than that if you prepare for the tests you'll do fine! Take him!

This isn't an easy A, but you will learn the material. Reardon knows what he's talking about, and he will help the students understand. Group projects and tests, not really any papers. Keeps the class entertained. Sometimes you're not sure if he's joking or not, but entertaining nonetheless.

Reardon was great! Very funny and entertaining, certainly not easy though. You have to do the readings (you are quized once or twice a week) and attendance is mandatory, tests are hard, but it's an abstract and dense subject so he's doing a good job with it. Awesome professor, take him if you are up to the challenge.

Tests are extremely difficult even when you know all of the information. His tests are all about "the best answer" possible, even when you can argue that two answers could be the best. He has a very dry humor, and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions.

I did not enjoy his class at all. He does not make an effort to clearly explain things to students and makes tests very tricky and difficult. Also he could be bit rude when people asked questions he thought were obvious or too well explained

lots of people like him why i have no clue!!! his tests are ridiculous, he makes them very tricky even if you know the material you can fail he gives multiple choice questions that all more than one right answers but the only right one is the one he thinks is

Great professor. very interested in the material. never bored in his class. tests directly from the book and lecture notes straight from the book. so if you read the book, then you don't have to take notes and you can just sit and listen to his engaging lecture. study guides for tests. very helpful. highly recommended.

He is a very funny guy and a great teacher. We had group projects/presentations and alot of reading from the book (but the chapters are short and most are pretty interesting). We had 12 quizes with an iClicker, but he dropped the lowest two grades and gave extra credit opportunities. The tests were 40 multiple choice, and they werent bad.

My favorite teacher at COFC. and i'm NOT a comm major. He isn't the easiest but his class was great. two exams both multiple choice and 3 speeches. If ou participate and show up you will pass but he expects you to put in the effort to get an a or b grade. funnest class yet!

One of the best profs I've had at CofC. A little tough, but if you attend class, take notes and listen you should do well. He makes slides EVERY DAY so there is no reason you shouldn't take notes. If you attend all classes you get bonus points. In a class of 60+, he learned the students' names who showed up daily, which benefited. great teacher.

Great professor, gives real life examples to help you understand theories. 4 tests given during the semester, plus a group project and theory paper. Attendance is mandatory and pop quizzes are given. If you read the chapter you won't have any problems. He offers office hours for help and lots of extra credit. Wants you to do well in his class!

I loved this class! He is absolutely hilarious. Do not misunderstand, this is not an easy A! He is tough, and the tests are tough as well. The pop quizzes are easy if you read, so be sure to always read and make sure you are there!
