Comment:

Had Riddle for Bio 100 Lecture. He's a cool professor but his lectures can be a bit bland. He also has this creepy laugh, but at least it wakes you up. Attendance is not mandatory and if you buy his study/review book, it comes with a disk that includes all the class lectures. That book will be your bible. If you study everything in it, you'll pass.

He is an ok teacher. He has a self-made book that will REALLY help you. It comes with a disk of the slides so my first piece of advice is to get it and USE it. He is pretty unfair tho when it comes to military students and civilian students. He drops 1 test for civilians whereas he drop 2 or 3 for military members. Total of 5 tests, nothing else.

Has a tendency to be brash but is hilarious, does not seem to care about attendance except on test days which is nice, but missing a lecture can really hurt your on the test later.

He's a good teacher but his addiction for tabaco doesn't help him to give the class how is supposed to do. He will always have his favorite students. His exams are confusing, the book he didn't even notice if you answered it or not. If you study hard for the weekly exams you will pass if no don't even dream it. Think it twice to take this class.

Professor Riddle is pretty chill, but that's not be mistaken with how his class is . He has a total of 5 tests which he drops the lowest . If you don't study you won't pass his tests . Don't take this class if you lots of other classes because his class requires DEDICATION . Makes you buy 2 textbooks !

Professor Riddle is very knowledgeable in his field and has been teaching for a long time. Tests are not too hard and the only hmwk is reading. If I had read the book chapters & studied more I might have rec'd an A. Be sure to get his study guide, and rent the text if you want an A or B.

Had Professor Riddle over the summer. Was a great teacher and has quite a sense of humor and personality. Most questions were similar to the study guide but you did have to read the textbook if you wanted that A. Got a B!

Amazing Prof. Clear, helpful, and really into what he is teaching. His book is inexpensive and will be your bible. Study, be interested, and he will appreciate your efforts - you get what you earn. No essay questions on exams, no homework. Multiple choice & fill in the blank. He couldn't make it any easier for you! Felt lucky to be in his class.

Had him for lab and he was awesome! At first his laugh and dark humor was a bit scary, but after the first day it was hilarious. He was very clear and made Bio interesting. Says hes going to retire, so take his class while you have the chance!

great teacher, nice guy, really knows his stuff, very reasonable, its relieving to have a teacher who is fair and makes a subject like Biology (I hate bio) somewhat interesting for me.. he says he might retire after this semester so hopefully hes around for those who are reading this. great teacher! do not buy the textbook.. he will tell you to buy two books, one is a "study guide" that he makes and the other is completely useless, i promise you that it will not be used so save your money. All he gives is 5-100 Q tests and no HW, the "study guide" has practice tests in them which are word for word 75% of the real test, memorize.

Very creepy laugh. You really dont need a textbook, and you do a lot of studying. He has a seating chart, and if you are sensitive to cigarettes, dont sit in the front, he sometimes smells like alcohol. He's somewhat easy, if you know your stuff. If you don't you will probably wont do well. He makes cruel & weird jokes which makes him creepy.

Took Prof Riddle's Bio 100/101 class (labANDlecture). He treats the lab like it IS a 1 unit class; if you fail you are just straight up lazy. The lecture is def a lot harder, you BETTER read and you BETTER study. I passed with a C just skimming most of the time. But still, STUDY. Great guy, hilarious laugh!

Had him for lecture and lab in 2009/10... he was an amazing teacher! afte havin the worst (patricia beller) it was refreshing to have someone so educated and passionate about biology and their job. His laugh still makes me laugh till this day.

All I can say is thank God I had a chance to take him before he retires. He is an awesome professor and very easy going. I as well enjoyed his jokes and laugh. I was one who do not care to much about science, but he made the class understandable, And I liked that. Two thumbs up for Mr. Riddle.

Mr. Riddle is a wonderful professor:) I took him for my lecture & lab class during this past summer. Everyone makes fun of his uncanny sense of humor but I find it pretty funny as well as his laugh! Don't buy the book for the class, just buy his own study guide booklet and you'll pass with flying colors. He is really helpful otherwise!
