Wouldnt recommend taking her at all. Will give an assignment then will change everything up the next time you see her. Doesn't even teach just expects you to write essays while not even explaining anything to you. Just don't take her not good.

This was one class i never wanted to miss, but in a good way. Professor Lawhn expected more from us but also helped us more. She made me feel I could complete the course and she wouldn't it let me give up. She is fair, but she could tell when I was trying to give her just an excuse.

She might be disorganized, late, and not on her "A" game as far as due dates go.Just know if youre not passionate about serious literature & writing this class is 4u But if youre stuck having 2 take her, you'll learn 2b patience with her. Go to the writing lab before a paper is 'supposly" due 2 get that quality of writing, easy A/B

Great teacher took her for 1301 and 1302. Don't take her if you expect not to work. She gives 1-3 page essays for homework. We used a book in 1302. This is a class where you are able to speak your mind and freely write whatever you want.

I Regret taking her class. Students show up on time but many times it was pointless. she was either late or didn't show up. essays are rarely due on the original due date-which she tells you the day its due. She is not too professional & likes to talk about her personal life. We sat in a circle like small children & students took turns reading. =|

This poor woman needs to retire. Very disorganized and never on time for class. Changes class assignments after student has completed it. Never learned a thing in this class. Want an easy A? Put up with her "stuff" and do it. If you want to learn- PASS!

Luna-Lawhn is passionate, friendly and very disorganized. Easy A if you attend and do assignments. Essays get pushed back a lot. Don't buy books (lots of little stories) check them out at library, you won't be tested on them. Couple of essays and research paper. Take home final exam essay. Class is very off the cuff. Not a writer's course. Easy A.

Mrs. Lawhn is a nice person (if you get on her good side),but she is SUPER disorganized. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to learning something but we basically sat around and read from the book like a bunch of kindergarteners.It was an easy A but still a waste of money and time.

Disorganized. But an easy A if you do what she tells you to do. Don't take her if you want to learn how to write, because she pretty much leaves you on your own. I'm sorry, but her class was a joke. Ms. Lawhn is great all she expects is that students do the required assignments. If you can't handle reading the required material and participating in class discussions than this class is not for you. She does tend to be a little disorganized but do not turn in assignments late and you should do fine.
