I was never that into music when I took his class for Music in Film. He's a good teacher and kind of funny, but the material can be a bit confusing. He will play recordings of instruments and have you guess what they are, which can get hard. There are also a lot of group presentations.

This class was EXTREMELY boring. I felt as if he was all over the place and I never understood what we were actually learning. He was a sweet guy, the class was just a mess.

Nice teacher, overall class is very easy. A lot of class time is devoted to group presentations so I suggest taking the class with your friends. Please please please read your text book. You will need it to pass his test!

Have had him for 3 classes. Really nice guy, his classes are interesting and you learn a lot, but at the same time it's very laid back. If you're into music, or even if you aren't really, definitely check out his classes. Only thing I heard was "commonwealth of the arts" didn't seem so popular (I didn't take it) but intro to music tech is awesome

He is wicked easy, and a great guy. You watch a lot of movies/musicals, and his test are simple. He plays a piece of music, and you just have to tell him what play it was in, who wrote it, and what character/actor sung it. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Music in Film - I thought originally this would be a class I would just take for an elective...but I was wrong! This class is so much fun, and I enjoy every minute of it! It can be a bit boring sometimes, but Caniato is a funny teacher and makes it interesting 99% of the time. No homework, really, aside from simple projects you can do in a day.

He is a great teacher and knows his stuff. Barely any work or projects and never checks homework if he assigns it. Little bit of an accent but you can understand him almost perfect.
