Dr. Bellah is hands down the best professor I have ever had. He is caring, genuine and such an awesome guy. I took him for creative writing and a selected studies class that was over The Chronicles of Narnia. He has such heart, and is willing to help you with anything school or life related. Love this guy and everything he stands for.

Comment:

Classes are very easy. You have 4-5 essays to write. In 1302 you take daily one question quizzes as soon as class starts over the given reading assignment. They aren't long, just read them. He gives a lot of free quiz grades. He knows a lot about literature too. He is very nice.

Comment:

Took him for Comp 2 and absolutely loved it! Very passionate and knowledgeable about his subject, and extremely willing to help his students in any way possible. The class was not an "easy A", you did have to do your reading and put effort into your papers, but I don't think it was too demanding. Keep up the good work, Dr. B!

Comment:

Best teacher I have ever had. He loves his students especially the adult students. It more than just teaching to him and you as a student strive to meet his expectations of yourself.

Dr. Bellah was a really great teacher. He's very kind and genuinely cares about his students. Brought literature/poetry to class to read out loud and discuss, explained the assignments clearly, and has peer reviews. Super easy A, just show up and do the work. Maybe graded a little too easily. Definitely would recommend!

Comment:

Dr. Bellah is one of the few Profs who genuinely care about his students. He wants you to succeed and goes beyond to make sure you get a good grade. He's the man behind Finishers, a network of students encouraging each other to reach their goals. Dr. Bellah is a lovely person and I think he's the wisest choice for anyone needing Comp I and/or II.

He's an easy teacher if you just try. Although I did not receive the grade I wanted I can see how that happened and improve my writing. He's friendly and easy to get along with, and he makes the class pleasant. As in I do not ever dread in coming to his class even though I despise writing.

Dr. Bellah is an extremely encouraging teacher who knows what he is talking about and is willing to help students succeed in his classes. His assignments were clear and he posted most of them online at the beginning of the semester. Fair grader also, even though I felt like he was a bit too easy. Would recommend to others in a heartbeat.

Took Dr. Bellah twice, stick with what works! Not too difficult,nice man. Not too nit-picky for a Comp. Guy! Enjoys his students,seems to enjoy being there for you and seems to care about your sucess as well!A good teacher for these two Comp.I&II.
