Test were very hard for me even after reading the book some questions are just really confusing. The papers are what saved me with easy grading on those.

You can find everything on quizlet if you don't feel like reading the textbook. He usually words things straight from the textbook, so even if you don't use quizlet, it's still easy to find answers. He has kind of a god complex and his emails just had an unnecessary amount of attitude, he's pretty annoying but at least it's an online class

It's online, so there's not much to it. His grading is organized, but the way everything was presented was very bland. I guess that's what you get when you take an online course?

All quizzes, mid terms, and final are on quizlet of which is based on the text book readings. There was quite a bit of assignment; however, it was an online class so it was expected. I got an A on almost everything and he was extremely nice.

Mike Pilakowski is beyond awesome. I took his online class, so "hotness" varies at this point - however, a man this nice has to be attractive. Every research paper I submitted (there is usually 1 per each Learning Module) I not only got feedback, but 100% for rather basic papers (met the minimum and then some). Great guy, great dad, great class!

Took his online class. Very clear in what he wants. Every week there is a learning module due friday at midnight. I waited till Friday to do every assignment and quiz and got almost 100% on everything. His quizzes and tests are all online on quizlet. If you're looking for a good class that you can learn cool things and get an A in, this is it.

This is my second time taking an online course with this professor, and both times I have received 100% or close to it. This class is all about getting your work done and having good time management skills. I guarantee you will receive an A+ if you simply read the assigned chapter every week. If not, you will be lost. I loved both classes.

Since this class is online, you would expect clear and precise directions on assignments and quizzes. He expects perfection from you, but he can't use proper grammar, spelling or clarity in his own instructions. The tests didn't correlate with learned material, causing you to guess on the tests and your grade to drop. 1010 would NOT recommend.

The chapters he assigned did not correlate with the chapters in the book, and then the quizzesexams didn't follow either. Every single one of his assignments and quizzes had spelling errors. In addition, his portal page was a mess with everything everywhere. The layout of the class was okay, but the assignments were irrelevant to my learning.

Class wasn't too difficult, however, it was quite demanding. The course is made up of 1000 points and there are 75 extra credit points you can earn by doing the assignments. Whenever I was confused, I emailed him and he responded promptly by making things clearer. Very wise man that expects a lot from you. Be prepared to work if you want to succeed

This course isn't too difficult, but it is demanding. When you email for help, he isn't friendly & reluctant to help. During dead week we had 2 discussion postings due, 1 response paper, an extra credit paper, a quiz, a unit exam, and a 1,000 word paper. a lot for "dead week". Syllabus isn't clear, do all assignments every week. none are optional.

It was really hard class for me. It has enormous of reading, and you have to do lots of work during summer. He is a easy grader, but hard to get in A range. To get A is over 970. However, he is kind and he really likes to help students. If you want to get many information what Anthropology is, take his class.

I took anthro. 140 online last semester. This class is based on self learning. Its not a hard class however, you must do the work. Each week a chapter is due. There is a quiz per week and a unit exam. On contrary, there is extra credit. I recommend everyone who take this class online to do all the extra credit. It really help toward the grade.

I took ANTH140 online and it was the worst desicion I ever made. To begin with he forgot about spring break, so he had a midterm over break. He copied and pasted everything form his butte class over to our and our schedual is different form thiers! Then he is never available. And their is an extreme amount of reading. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE!!!

I hated this class all the way through. I definitely didn't put my best effort forward and I ended up with an 88% in the class. He gave me an A-. I didn't deserve it and, therefore, he is an awesome teacher.

Not a good professor! Constantly tries to impress you with how much he knows- but he can't even pronounce words right! Tries to be funny but reuses the same jokes over and over. Promised our class an open note test and then took it back the week of!! Do not take him!!!

He's pretty hilarious and knows how to make this class fun. Sometimes it can be a little boring but common, Anthropology is hard to learn let alone teach. He also grades easy on papers and homework.
