sorry, I dont know who posted that comment claiming hes a good "dynamic, understanding and thoughtful" professor but he is the exact opposite! his class was awful and everyone dreaded going, wed walk out half the time. Whenever anyone had a question hed get angry with you and give you a half-assed answer For god sakes STAY AWAY!! youve been warned!

This guy is a complete joke. I am extremly angry that I am stuck taking his class. He is one of my worst professors. I laugh outloud after almost everything he says during class. He is way too old and is froze in his time. He was probably a decent teacher 30 years ago. I am a 3.8 student and I already have a feeling that this class will drop my gpa

This professor is STRANGE. I get crepped out whenever I step into his classroom. He goes off on insane tangents about women he's been w/. He yells when he gets excited, and it's not funny it's scary. If you're a guy you'll get a kick out of his wild stories, but I just felt awkward in his class. His grading makes no sense either. Whatever.

Monte Rivera is a serious bore. He just talks and talks and talks for an hour and fifteen minutes, and always goes off on ridiculous tangents. He's an alright guy, but he's completely unwilling to grade anybody above a C on his tests. His grading makes absolutely zero sense. If you want to be graded on knowledge and ability, never take this class.

The class is impossible to pass with an A. I did really good on my midterm and only got a 76. He gives a 10 page paper and it only counts for 10 points on the midterm. Dont take him. Its not worth trying your hardest to be disappointment.

Gave us a research project. Never gave is a paper with directions. He went over what to do the first week of class and we never heard about it again til the due date. Not never fair. Only gives 2 tests and a project so if u fail one your done.

verrrrrrry boring...take this class if u want to sleep..hes very very nice but hes so boring. he sits at hjis desk and just talks and talks and talks..his tests are essays but he gives you the questions in the beginning of the year so its pretty easy if you just know what your writing about..tests are alll essay form.

BORINGGGG. he was a nice man, but soooo boring. his tests are all essays, hard because it's all writing, suggestion: get extra essay booklets, he gives u the essay questions a week or so before the exam, write the essays with ure textbook at home, test day go in and doodle in ure book, switch the test booklets when u go to hand it in,works a charm

Unfair grading system. His tests are all essay and he grades really hard. An essay that deserves an 85 gets you a 75. His stupid term paper doesn't even get graded. All it does is add 10 points to a test grade, and if you don't write it you fail the class. He lectures the whole time and it is so boring. Bad Professor!

bad professor. falls off track alot-talks about his personal life too much. doesnt explain where he took points off from and when you ask gives you a half ass answer. and on the 10page term paper everyone gets a 100 or "10points added onto your midterm grade". everyone gets in the 70-low 80s. i doubt he reads our papers!
