Comment:

Great class if you are interested. His accent is only difficult for about one class but he handles himself very well. Pay attention to powerpoints and make formula sheets and you will pass. Quizzes once a week but no homework. He is very dedicated and genuinely cares about your success in the class.

Very nice professor, he cares about students and is well organized. If you study the PowerPoints, you will pass the class. He is somewhat difficult to understand.

As a teacher he is borderline useless. Very difficult to understand and gives little instruction outside of powerpoints. However he is brilliant in his field and will give good insight one on one. Half decent work will get you an A. If you are having trouble go to his office hours he is very helpful.

Hard to understand sometimes but once you get past it, the lectures are pretty decent. Tests are straight off the notes so as long as you study, you can get A's or B's on the tests easily.

I dont care what anyone says, but Dr. Wang is now my FAV Professor @ UCF. I failed EVERY test, did decent on the final & pulled a B- for my final grade. How? I have no idea. I recommend do ALL of the extra credit & visit him during his office hours so he knows your face. He is HARD to understand. Tests r mutliple choice which helps.

You can only understand about 1 out of every 10 words he says. He tries to do examples, which are impossible to follow. Claims he 'doesn't have much room to curve grades' which is a deceptive statement of his. I rarely attended class. Got D's on my tests, bombed the final and ended up with a B- If he didn't curve, most of class would have failed

Give yourself a chance to get over the accent & you will fall in love with this prof. He is very funny & gives TONS of xtra credit/curved grades. Most of the class gets D's on the tests cause they never go to class and dont study then blame it on him, but if you go to class, look over the book you will get an A.

The class was pretty easy. I rarely showed up which means I missed a few extra credit opportunities unfortunately, but you can learn everything from the online slides and book. With the extra credit, it probably boosts your score by 10-12% if you do all of it. An A- starts at an 88% but an A starts at 95%... really silly how 94.99% hurts your GPA

Great teacher! For Stat 2, he has a very useful website with the lectures and practice problems on it. He also lets you use the textbook for the exams and notes on the quizzes. Very fair grader; will curve grades if he can. Very helpful outside of class, too! A really nice guy who wants you to succeed-- has a good sense of humor at times, too!

Extremely nice outside of class. He will help you with any problem that you are having. The assignments and projects are fairly easy if you know SAS decently. Also an easy grader. The lectures are really boring, but you have to go because there are pop quizzes. There is no need to buy either book, SAS help and google will assist you better.
