Dr. Akundi is an amazing teacher. He cares a lot about his students by willing to stay after class everyday to answer questions students have. Dr. Akundi is a very cool person if you get to know him. The one thing that I don't like about his class is the quizzes because they are very tricky. I recommend to take his class in the summer.

I took the class during the summer. I don't understand the big hype around Akundi!! His class is just as hard as the of physics professor. EAT, LIVE, BREATHE physics when it comes to this man! Office hours and tutoring center is a must if you want to pass!!!!!!!

Summer physics, lived in his office hours. do all the problems for practice bc it'll prepare you, actually understand them bc you'll see them later. He's a realist & won't baby you but he'll help you. You can learn the math but you'll always feel like you're missing something conceptually, glad I got it out the way, expect to study every night

He requires too much of the student. You're gonna eat, sleep, and poo physics in order to pass his class. I had a horrible experience. Way too difficult of a professor. He's difficult to understand too.

I had Dr. Akundi for both semesters of physics, which was a very challening class for me. Dr. Akundi was always willing to help me and continued to push me. He doesn't give out grades, but he makes it possible for you to earn the grade that you deserve with his open door policy. On tests days he has students in his office from 10am-4pm.

Dr. Akundi is a hoot! This man is hilarious! But the class material is hard, VERY HARD. But he is willing to help you in anyway possible to learn the material. Do not expect him to give you any grade because of the difficult material, you have to earn it. He is a nice professor who will not tolerate anything less of your full potential.

Its very important to stay on top of course material. Akundi frowns upon students who leave class early.If your having trouble with material, he is more than willing to assist you. He is the only professor I've had thus far who truly has an open door policy and students should appreciate that. Great professor!

He's a good teacher but PHYSICS isn't easy on it own! I do not recommend you take it during summer! It's just too much cramming and too much to do. If you do plan to take it during summer ....be prepare for 3 quizzes and a test each week. On top of that, you have online homework due for all that u learn that week...it's a lot to handle!

The class is hard more so because of the material not the teacher. He is all about helping and is always available. He got jokes too which keeps the class lighthearted! A really good teacher! To pass, stay up on your math skills. He's all about deriving formulas!
