Johnson is one of the best professors at NP. If you want to learn how to use the english language this the teacher to take. Tests are hard but she tells you everythign you need to know on them. She've very fair and she's got a lot of interesting things to say. With her guidance i really learned how to write and interpret.

Comment:

Ms. Johnson is an incredible teacher with the perfect amount of enthusiasm and class. To say she is extremely helpful is an understatement. Throughout my college career no professor has superseded Ms. Johnson in terms of quality and engagement. If you wish to grow as a student AND as an individual, it would behoove you to take her course!

HANDS DOWN my favorite professor at NP. She takes the most complicated literary theories and makes them comprehensible. Great, clear lectures. Her tests are ridiculous, but you do learn a lot studying for them. She is smart, understanding, and adorable. Just don't text in class.. she'll embarrass you. Wish I could take every class with her! Love!

AMAZING. She is a great professor, clear, great notes always prepared and super nice. She's an extremely fair grader and her assignments are fair as well. Her tests are writing heavy but study and you'll do fine. She's a fabulous dresser as well, very stylish.

i took her for eng lit 2 and lit crit. she's fantastic. she's the best teacher there and you will learn from her. her tests are super hard but if you study you can do well. She's great for writing help too. my only issue with her was her talking politics. i hate politics in a class unpolitical. she's one of the reasons i love english.

Nancy is a very organized, intelligent, and extremely helpful professor. 20th century lit crit involved difficult concepts and reading that she was able to clarify with ease. I learned a lot and recommend her to everyone. She is also a very fair grader. Great lady!!

Prof. Johnson expects you to work hard and demonstrate engagement in class, but her helpfulness and friendly demeanor make doing so fun. She excels at explaining abstract concepts in understandable terms, as well as skillfully employs classroom dialogue to encourage students to try deconstructing theories on their own. I definitely recommend her.

Considering the material (20th C. Crit), Dr. J's class could not be any more inviting and comprehensible. Her powerpoints are succinct and well-written, boiling the oft-difficult readings into something more easily digested. Boundlessly nice and friendly, but don't be the juvenile moron checking your cell phone in class -- she'll kill you.

Friendly and professional, Dr. Johnson is always prepared for class and organizes her presentation notes in a clear and concise manner. She's not a tough grader if one can write in the style required by a criticism class, and she makes sure the class knows what will be on each exam. Reading load is fairly low, for a 400-level. A+ teacher.
