This is one of the worst professors I've ever had. She was incredibly vague on her directions. She did not give students useful feedback on assignments, and she was very rude. This class was a complete waste of time.

THIS CLASS COMPLETELY SUCKS, WHEN I SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS I THOUGHT SHE WOULD TALK ABOUT GAY CULTURE, BUT SHE TALKED ABOUT LESBIANISM THE WHOLE SEMESTER. EVERY MOVIE, EVERY READING, EVERY PRESENTATION WAS ABOUT LESBIANISM... IAM GLAD SHE IS NOT TEACHING THIS CLASS ANYMORE GOOD LUCK TO THOSE!

I enjoyed this class very much. Dr. Espin talks about her own life as it relates to the class with an interesting perspective. In my opinion, it's a shame she's retiring soon.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Terrible instuctor, she never lectures. All she does is sit at the table in the room and show movies or has guest speakers. Readings VERY out of date, only taught from her persective. She is rude and hypocritical. She fell asleep during one of her own guest speakers. Will tell you opinion is wrong if it is not the same as hers.

Love her! Elegant, charming and funny. The class is **** & **** Identities and it is wonderful. I like that she has some fire in her! LOTS of reading, but all interesting!
