I never thought I would have a professor at a community college with the ability to cover material in depth the way he does. Thnaks to him, as a physician assistant, I have reached my dreams. I hope all faculty follow his strict but caring discipline.

Although he served as an adjjunct over the weekend a few years ago he taught me and disciplined me in a difficult topic I never thought I would succeed in. I am in PA school now thanks to him. Thank you Dr. Svoornos!

Gives so much amount of homework. It's impossible to complete that much homework. He doesn't teach the class. Makes organic chemistry harder than it should be and is proud. Always Wears white coat to lecture! Hilarious. Mostly talks about emergency room which has nothing to do with organic chemistry. Always yells at students.

He is an incredibly dedicated faculty. He gives lots of tests. he is lways open for questions. He hates power points, cell phones and routine lectures. He peppers his teaching with critical thinking and applications to everyday life. He is fair, tough but hard on himself first. I will take him again.

Prof. Svoronos will push you out of your comfort zone as a student. It's a good thing. That being said, the man does have a serious temper and does not tolerate laziness. Be prepared for outbursts if your class is not cutting it. He is always there for students that want to learn and will run review sessions during lab for difficult problems.

This man is more of a father than a professor. He listens to u & directs you. However u ought to listen to him. He demands class participation, hates cell phones, gives a test every ten days, expects u to show to class on time, does not negotiate grades. The outcomes are great.U are a different person after finishing his class. Will take him again.

This man is by far the best teacher I ever had. Helpful, hard working, compassionate. However no tolerance for slackers, no iphones. He is pure business. Will change your life. Expect to come to the board, study on the weekends and have up to cumulative 10 tests per term. I made it to a PhD program starting from a GED- and I am grateful to him.

Hands down the best professor I have ever had in my life. He truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed in life. He is tough, but if you follow his rules and stay focused, you will be greatly rewarded. There were merely 8 of us left in his class by the end of the semester, but we were determined, and he saw our passion.

The most difficult course I ever had. The instructor was very demanding yet I felt satisfied taking his class at the end. He insists on independent thinking. Don't think about slacking off. You listen to him him you succeed. You do not you fail. And for those who whine- you do not belong in college.

I took CHE 107 over the summer only in weekend. His teaching method was perfect. On the first day, he seems strict. But, if u do assignments regularly, I am sure u will get a 'A' in the Lab.

Repeating what was already said - Dr. Svoronos knows his stuff and gives excellent real world examples, and problems on the board to explain each topic. He only tested on what was covered in class, and in fact tested on the same things over and over so you could get a good grade if you practiced and reviewed. Excellent, but definitely moody prof.

I was a student at QCC and I have to say that Dr. Paris is brilliant, yet extremely difficult. I honor him for the yelling and the screaming, because when I transfered, I was above all the rest. Stop complaining and FOCUS students. I took orgo but I passed with a B+, which is good. I would take him again on account of his yelling.

I can't believe what I read.He is the role model to every teacher.Serious students appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to do anything to get the max out of them. He pushes you to the brink but you become appreciative in the long run.You want a useless A? Go to someone else. You want success? Take him.He will make a super student out of you

Awful. Does not allow time for students to process information, yells when they make mistakes, cannot explain clearly at all, promotes a horrible learning environment. His behavior and expectations are ridiculous even for hard working students who like to be challenged.
