Very hard with high expectations and little to no guidance. She was also my adviser. Never in her office, doesn't return voice mails or emails, constantly losing documents sent to her. What a joke

By 1995 they were printing T-shirts that said "I survived Eisenman" - THAT IS HOW HARD SHE IS. She expects perfection. She is one of hardest professors. She comes off - standoffish..but make appts w her & get to know her. It will help BIG TIME! you MUST put a LOT of study time into her classes PERIOD.

This was by far the hardest class I had to take for my ESS degree. Dr. Eisenman is tough. Don't miss any of her study sessions. But if you do attend them, make sure you have questions for her. She's more willing to help you understand things and takes the time to explain it. Her tests are very difficult.

This prof was absolutely horrible. Expectations were not clear and nor were her teaching methods. I had friends in the same course with another instructor and it was clear who ended up much happier at the end of the semester. Definately avoid this prof at all cost.

The format of the class is completely unfair for the students enrolled. Read, present, and write a paper based on everyone's presentations and yours. Isnt a teacher supposed to teach? Felt like I was doing busy work the entire time and didnt have time to work. Knowledge is dependent on other people. She's lazy, waste of time and money.
