Comment:

This professor was very helpful. You could talk to her about anything and she would work with you until you understood things. She made the class super fun; there was never a dull moment in the class. Tests were fairly easy. Attend classes and you won't have a problem!

Dr H is a great professor. Extremely helpful and empathetic. She wants the best for her students and is always fair. The class was always fun and she came up with really cool ways to get us to understand each lesson. Take her!

This class was ridiculous. She left about a month in with no explanation. After that her TA's took over until the last 2-3 weeks when they found a replacement. Grades up till then had been messed up by a d2l error. Did a ton of X-cred, but none of it was found after she left. Got an A only because new teacher had sympathy. Furious at end of class.

This class was a waste of my time! We didn't learn anything from our teacher. She was only in our class for about 2 weeks and then left. She does not use our textbook, she f**** up our test which the class averge was 50% on that test...she was very unhelpful and was very rude! She needs to find another job! Don't take her!

She doesnt stay on task very well and is very unorganized. Its hard to follow what she is saying. You learn more during your lab class. However, she does post the powerpoints online so that you can actually have a chance at passing the class. Her theory is that you should be able to learn the matieral on your own.

Worst prof ever!!! She has been gone like a bandit without a trace for a month plus and with no explanation. Never use the book. She dose not know how to use d2l and messed up on about 10 questions on our online quiz. Do not, under any circumstances, take a class with Dr. Hauslein. She is very unorganized, and never stick to the syllabus. The class average for our first quiz was 54%. She missed class a lot and now we have learned that she will be gone for the rest of the semester with no explanation. JUST SAY NO TO ANYTHING TAUGHT BY DR.HAUSLEIN!!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! Very unhelpful, unclear and just stupid. She doesnt know what she is talking about. One time, in lecture, someone asked a question and she just laughed and replied, "I don't know". If you want to learn anything about biology, dont take this class. I would go to class praying the TA, Adam would teach..

I thought she did a very good job for a 100 class. it wasnt hard at all and there were lots of extra credit opportunities. The labs were easy and our final was basically non existent. the topics arent what you would expect, but she does it to try and interest the class, not to get off topic.

The class is very easy. Hauselein gives everyone plenty of oppurtunities to get an A with lots of extra credit works, online exams and attendance. the lab is equally easy. If you are looking to learn a whole lot from a 100 level course, don't take it. But if you are looking for an easy A, take this class with the professor.

All the negativity- I found Prof Hausleing to be very helpful- Yeah sometimes lectures were hard to follow, but this is college, it's not supposed to be a cake walk like Highschool! As for The comments about Adam? He was a lot of fun and helpful with teaching the things we didn't understand. So for all those ****ing..give up already not worth it!

Very unorganized and unstructured teacher. Biology 103 turned into sex ed., which was really weird. Labs hardly ever related to class dicussions and are really confusing. I would never take this class with this teacher ever again! Grades are crazy also! Avoid this prof!

She was a nice and very laid back, but she was often too laid back. We would come to class having no idea what we would be doing that day, and we would soon find out that she and her assistant didn't either. They would give us a timeline and wouldn't follow it. I ended up with an A, but I didn't feel like I learned much.

Grading is like a rollercoaster. She is a great professor and knows her stuff, but it's difficult to follow her sometimes-she will tell you after a lecture that you should forget everything she just said because it's wrong. And don't worry, she interrupts EVERY presentation, no matter what.
