I don't understand what everyone is speaking about here. I find Prof. Laser to be very nice and helpful and accomodating. Perhaps kids right out of high school are not used to working so hard. You need to study and apply yourself and you'll be find. Please don't let these negative comments put you off from this class or this teacher.

Her tests were complicated, partly because I couldnt connect what she was saying with the tests. She was very nice because mostly concerned with mothers, which she used me as an example a lot! She just needs to retire, she has had enough.

I took 110 and 180 with her, 110 live, and 180 online. I'm not a mom, and never have plans to be, but I loved her. I agree that she is a bit soft spoken, which can be tough, especially in a night class. It's not as bad though if the people in class will help out and have some discussion going on.

For an online instructor she was horrible, never got back to you. Sometimes it was a week and 1/2 before you heard anything from her. Because of this class I will never take an online course again. Worst expeirence I ever had

If students would outline and study the chapters, you will get good grades on your tests. This isn't kindergarten. You actually need to apply yourself. Spend some time and learn the material and you won't go wrong. I finished her class with an A+. It just takes a little work and a mature attitude!! She is very nice and accommodating!

Kind of a strange lady, very nice though. Lots of chances for extra credit and usually allows students to leave early. Horrible teaching style, too soft spoken, more directed towards the "moms" in the class. A little annoying and a bit of a chore of a class. Hard tests that barely follow her lecture, her notes, or the text!

Professor Laser is one of the best. Teaches without notes or using the book. She just KNOWS this stuff. Lots of opportunity for extra credit, and tests are easy if you just study and put your mind to good use. Not too keen of Freud, so you know, if you like him, don't get offended! :)
