I miss McDaid,he was a fantastic teacher and mentor and because of him I am still pursuing theater and creative writing. He was the kind of teacher you loved or hated,but still learned a lot from. I took as many classes with him as I could and did one show under his direction. I'm better at my craft thanks to his influence.

WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEACHERS, ALWAYS MADE CLASS TO FUN, BUT LOVES TO MAKE FUN OF EVERYONE TO KEEP HIM SELF FROM BEING BORED. NO TEXTBOOK NEEDED, ASSIGNMENTS RANGED, IS A VERY INTENSE GRADER, WILL TEAR YOUR PAPER APART, SO HELPFUL THO HE MADE ME A BETTER WRITTER! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM AGAIN IF I COULD!

BEFORE you run for the hills, there is more stigma surrounding McDaid than is rationally deserved. He IS unorthodox & WILL NOT feed you the answers straight up; But u reap from his class what u sow. He may be bark-y sometimes~IMO it's just a front.Treat him with respect; take him seriously; give him your time & energy~he will pay you back in FULL.

I had Mcdaid for english 100.... he was so helpful. although coming into the class i did not like him, i thought he was arrogant.... but after sitting in class and paying attention to him, he has become one of my favorite teachers.... although he can be a cool guy, u have to do work and come for help to stay on his good side.... he likes to see you try...... if you do exactly what he says... u will pass with an A...

great teacher and director. people have been claiming harrasment: bull. he is an honest person, some people can't handle honesty. he has picked on me for everything since the day i met him and i have no clue why. but he is awesome and a fun teacher. sure, a little difficult. but it is worth it.

I just want to say that he was the most aweful teacher I ever had. What that man put me through, no student should have to go through. I put up with his harassment all semester. He has no business being a teacher.
