He didn't give out too many assignments and always allowed for rewrites and opportuities for a better grade. He was very lenient and a fun teacher to have. Despite not being a very hard teacher, I really believed my writing improved because of him.

If you can't put a sentence together he will send you to the writing center for assistance and you can still get a good grade. Took an evening class that was a lot of fun. Usually dread ENG classes but Prof. makes it funny, interesting and stress-free. Highly recommended! Usually have to write at least 1 paper per week but it really isn't that much. One research paper is required and can only be 4 pages long. Piece of cake class but also really informative. Learned a lot!

Professor Grossman was a lot of fun, very engaging. He doesn't seem to take the ENG 120 class too seriously, but why should he beat his head against a wall for a BS requirement class that everyone is expecting to phone in, anyway? He'd be an awesome teacher for other English courses, I'm sure. Very competent, and makes life easy on his kids. Yay!

Took his class during summer session which I recommend! He lets the class out early so summer goes fast. Gives you course packet; no book to buy! Didn't appreciate him mocking students but his class is well-organized & clear. Teaches you all you need to know to write a paper throughout college.

EASIEST english teacher. But you still have to do all of your assignments. Such a low course load, and usually lets the class out early. Feels like High school all over again. You must have a good sense of humor and he loves good descriptions in your papers... even weird ones! However, he really will not help your writing at all, not much revision.

It's an easy class, he tries to motivate you by making yuo re-do essays,but in the end it's all worth the work..absent frequently no text is required. Great Professor, the lowest grade you might get is a B, unless you're really bad at writing! Just write with a little humor and vocabulary and you'll pass without a doubt..

If you can write well and make him laugh, then class will be super easy. If you write like a fifth grader, then he will help you as much as he can to a limit. Great sense of humor, not a stuffed shirt like a lot of other English profs at Hunter. He was absent several times without telling us first and people from the Bronx, Brooklyn, etc were unpleased. He'd offer no reasons at the next class.

The best prof.!!!!!! Very halpful. If you did bad grade on you essays you can re-do essays that many times that you want (to get A). Very-very funny. You do not need to buy a book. The lowest grage which you will get that B.

BEST TEACHER EVER. He'll make fun of everyone in the class but he's still helpful to his students. His classes are always enjoyable. He's flexible, accepts late papers, and makes things a lot easier for students.
