professor rose was a really nice guy and was extremely interesting but his classes were dull and rarely to the point. the entire class is one paper and he grades it easily but actual classes are extremely boring

A really nice and knowledgable teacher. He's very prone to tangents though and tends to give long winded answers to questions. The paper was hard only because he knows so much about the topic he can wade through any BS your throwing out there. He didn't take attendance either.

He's an absolute goldmine of historical knowledge, but very tangent-prone. The classic absent-minded professor that's impossible to dislike. Outstanding for a seminar course, but I would fear a lecture-based survey.

A fantastic professor and great author. Enjoys talking about history or whatever other philosophical tangent he takes the class on. Inspired me to pursue Modern German History at the graduate level.

good teacher and all but talks way too much about the movies before he shows them, and it's usually interesting but irrelevant info. only showed movies in class, didnt take attendance but wondered why no one came and always got mad.
