Comment:
Having no previous experience with the subjects made the course very difficult. However, he does make the lectures interesting and clearly explains the material. If you are like me (no experience with probability), then you'll want to spend some time re-reading lectures and doing tons of practice problems. TA recitation wasn't helpful...

He is the best prof for phd students, but his class is the hardest one among those without lab. Only 10% of students can get A or A-. You can take ESE306 in summer to make your life easier.

I am not gonna say don't take this class I am only going to say question everything he say's. He uses very general terminology for things that need to be described precisely which makes the subject difficult.

First off, Djuric is a VERY NICE GUY! Honestly he's such a great person, but he makes this course HARD. The material is utterly confusing, exams are extremely difficult and it's very hard to do well in the course. More math than engineering in 306, and it's very confusing. Good luck, even studying daily isn't enough.. but he is deff a nice guy!

I take the ESE503.It's not an easy course, but he made it very clear and easy to understand. Good orgnization. However, the exam is a little tough, but if you take more practice, that will no problem

This professor is one of the few professors who actually know what they are talking about. Sure its hard but its not impossible. I didn't struggle at all with this class because I went to the lectures and actually took notes. If you want to learn, he will help you.

Dont take ESe306 with him. Take it over the summer with Robertazzi, easy A. This guy takes already hard to understand material and makes it even harder. the class is all probability and very different from all other EE courses. His exams are hard, his HWs are retarded. And unless you like the material, the lectures will bore u to death.

He just take your concepts from basic to graduate level and you don't feel it. The best part is whenever someone asks a doubt he explains with examples keeping in mind the level of understanding of topic by student( type of ques clearly shows)

This professor expects alot from his students, but if you go talk to him he is extremly helpful. The course material can get difficult but he does a good job on testing you important info. You will learn alot and understand most of the material with him.

He's one of the professors who think that getting a near-failing grade is okay as long as you learn stuff. The class mentioned here is extremely hard, and the homeworks are harder than the exams! Since this is a requirement for Engineers, I would highly recommend taking it over the summer with Robatazzi.

Professor is impossible to understand even if you show up to all classes and try hard to pay attention. His accent is strong and he does not teach very well.
