Comment:

Excellent professor. He teaches at the pace his students learn the material, which is really helpful if the majority of the class is stuck on a certain topic. He is good at answering questions and explains the answers well. I took him for pre cal - differential equations and would recommend him over any other math professor at this college.

Comment:

If you do not get a decent grade and a good understanding of the material with this guy, you should save your money and drop out of college. I was not even in his class and he still spent all day teaching me linear algebra. He was able to teach the whole class in one day! I made an A in linear algebra at texas tech.

He's a nice guy, but he can't teach math. At all. He tells you answers, but NOT WHY that's the answer. Homework is over the top. Before our first test we have over 200 questions to do; homework doesn't count for a lot over all, but because of his "teaching style" I have to do it all in order to TEACH MYSELF for test. I would never recommend him!

Great teacher, fully prepares you for higher leveled math classes. Tests are a bit tough, but as long as you did your homework and understood them, then you should be fine.

This was the first teacher I ever had who could explain the why of mathematics. He is a great teacher if you pay attention. If you want to just goof off he isn't right for you. He will help if you ask for it.

Comment:

Took Mr.B for linked course Math 1311&1314. Class was a bit stressful the whole semester. He knows his subject very well, think he was a little ahead of the class, thus we also was taking Math 1311 at the same time. Overall he is a very nice professor...but prepared for this course if you take College Algebra with him.

Took him for Cal 3 and Difeq. He was good in Cal 3, but he left out all the application sections in Difeq. Does not grade test very promptly, but he is a decent instructor.

Comment:

Took him for Cal3 and DifEQ. He knows his stuff and is more than willing to help and explain. His tests tend to not be like the review (if you can get one out of him), but are nonetheless fair; Partial credit, et. My one peeve is you can never get your tests back from him, you have to badger him a lot! Overall fun, recommend him for higher classes.

Took his class for Cal 3. Very helpful when it comes to explaining things. Test are semi tough and you may have to twist his arm for a review. Grading is very generous, he does give partial credit if you show your work. Also allows CAS calculator.

It's a hard class. Sometimes it seems as if he's got his favorites, such as people who know everything about math. Make sure you have a calculator. He makes jokes about things that aren't funny but everyone laughed to be nice.

He makes sure everyone understands the material you just have to be willing to ask questions in class and before the tests. his tests are exactly like the reviews. he's a little old & nerdy but he knows what he's doing & is very helpful. you don't need your book but the mathlab cd is extra credit and helpful.he wants everybody to pass his class =)

Very great teacher, and definately a math wizard!! To understand the material, you MUST attend class. You DO NOT need a book, but you should buy the math lab CD. Math lab isn't required, but it's extra credit. Be prepared for this class (Math 0311 is recommended if you haven't had math in forever!!) Teacher does roll his eyes and makes jokes a lot.

Took during the summer and he made this class easy. Tests are semi-difficult be he grades appropriately and is a nice guy. Will work with you out of class.

He's very hard to pay attention to on account of he looks like a little math wizard. He's very nice though and his tests can kinda be confusing sometimes. I got a 'C' even though I did all the homework. Doesn't offer EC and doesn't always cover all the material on the test. He's alright but there's better teachers out there.
