Traditional students shouldn't take this class, I mean book"smart" students, it's really hard to find such a great professor like him, especially at community college, you are treated as friend, don't come if all you want is easy A, observe and think, talk to him that's how you learn

He has a lot of wisdom and loves to share it with students. That's basically the whole class. He gives out pointless essays that are due at the end of the semester that have nothing to do with what we talk about in class, which varies day to day. If you want an easy A, take him but don't if you want to actually learn.

If you think he offers nothing and isn't teaching what he is suppose to, you will never succeed in life! This is probably one of the most important classes you could ever take, not for health and wellness, but for the life he is teaching you!

Mr. Martin was the best online professor I've ever had. He is very involved and truly cares that you succeed. He is incredibly fast with his feedback. I never even cracked my textbook for this course, his online lectures had everything I needed to succeed. I highly recommend this instructor!

If you want an easy A this is the class to take, however, if you want to actually learn something about health science then you shouldn't take him. The class was molded into what he wanted to teach and strayed completely from any type of "wellness and exercise" Take only if you want an easy A

One of the worst classes I have ever had. There is absolutely no structure in this class or information pertaining to the course title. It is supposed to be a health and wellness course but it is far from that. Although some lessons pertain to the topic of health he usually just goes off on a rant about his life and how stupid this generation is.

This professor has not even the slightest clue as to what he is suppose to be teaching. It's a health and fitness class NOT a class on what Peter Martin thinks. Prof: Martin is a realist. He speaks truths. We are tomorrows future and if we do not take charge of change then we are screwed. Several short papers he calls "conclusions" on what matters to us, what we believe and feel. It is a pleasure to take this class. I am still in it, Wonderful fun professor!

Worst professor I've ever taken at bergen...like someone mentioned before all he talks about is how were screwed in the future because of mistakes we made and we barely learn anything. He also gives a TON of homework assignments each class. He also just expects you to do the entire workbook on your own...wow thanks professor for teaching us nothing

This professor is one of the worst i have had at bergen so far. He teaches nothing relevant to the health class that he is suppose to be teaching. Its only been day three of this class & he has already gave 8 assignments, absolutely ridiculous ones at that. Day 3 he cursed us out then proceeded to kick the class out for not answering a question.

EASY A :) Just fill two workbooks, one interview. and some one paragraph conclusions. We do "mindfulness" for the first 5 mins of class. I def. recommend this professor, he's such a nice guy and he doesn't give any exams or quizzes. You have to be REALLY lazy to fail his class. Just put some effort into it, it's an easy class.

I don't know what these people are talking about. Yes the class is easy but it was SO boring. All this 90 y.o man talks about is money and how we're all going nowhere in life and we all piss away our parents money. He's actually kind of offensive when he talks about certain jobs like how dpw workers are below us. Easy A but TEDIOUS work and BORING.

He is very likeable & adorable! He is one very wise man--for his age he has experienced a lifetime of things & desires to teach us about humanity and its unfortunate realities. I found it really interesting. Work: NO EXAMS, but.. fill out 2 workbooks, 1 "interview", and write 1 paragraph essays. *He doesn't read them just checks if you wrote somin!

Great teacher! Tells it how he sees it! 2 workbooks and some small assignments are assigned - do them and you pass the class! No tests!!!
