I'm not sure why people keep saying he's a great professor either. I'm an older student who works full time. My GPA was 3.8 and I got a C. He has a very OLD style of teaching and refuses to use any technology. I found his use of overhead transparencies annoying. He draws EVERYTHING,and he isn't a good artist!He would often confuse names and words.

Why does everyone keep saying how great he is? Unless he wrote those comments. I know he knows his stuff but he isn't very good at teaching it to his students. He says things backwards and never makes sense. His notes aren't helpful, so if you want to do well in this class you have to teach yourself. He also thinks it's BAD if a student gets a 100.

Pete is the BEST professor I have ever had the luck of encountering!! Study guides are straight forward, tests are easy if you study, labs are a cakewalk! He's fun, informative, and makes the material really interesting! I wish he taught more classes, because I'd love to have him as a professor again!!

study guide is NOTHING like the test, even Pete says his test are so hard he has trouble with them. There is a quiz every week with no word bank and expects you to be able to label every part spelling counts plus some weeks there will be a test or practical and quiz I didnt work at the time n studied day and night to end up with a C, im a GPA 3.5

GREAT prof! Not an easy class, but you will learn. Gives plenty of notes which helps on tests. He's got great stories & really cares about making sure you learn. Will help you in any way he can to make sure you pass the class. Def recommend him!

I couldn't ask for a better Anatomy and Physiology 2 teacher. The class is hard, but gives us plenty to study from (his exam emphasis guides are extremely helpful) He's funny, a great story teller, makes the class a lot less stressful than it really is. His classes usually sell out fast, that's gotta say something right there. Good Luck!

Great professor! Difficult class, but he will do anything he can to help you! Do the hw & don't miss class- he's more likely to bump up your grade if you're borderline. You MUST study for his tests & lab quizzes, but he tells you exactly what to study. Gives you about 6 essay questions before exam & gives you 3or4 of those same ?'s on the test.

PETE IS A GREAT PROFESSOR. YOU DO HAVE TO WORK BUT YOU WILL LEARN ALOT IN HIS CLASS. HE MAKES CLASS FUN. AND AS HE SAID THERE IS A LOT OF TRASH TO LEARN. BUT ONE OF THE GREAT PROFESSOR WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE HIM.

Prof Pete is a great teacher and person. He is fantastic at relating the material to real life situations and explaining concepts completely. Test questions are never a suprise but make sure you study completely what he tells you to. I got a B in the class I had to work for it but Pete made it fun, quirky, and a really understanding guy too.

He is awesome!!!!!! His tests are hard but he goes over everything. If you need extra help, he is there to help. His class is hard but AP2 is a hard class anyways. You will come out of his class fully prepared. Lots of studying!!!!! He is one of the greatest professors, I would highly recommend Pete. If your lazy, dont even bother!

Loved loved loved this class!! Pete is awesome and is soo helpful. He really cares about his students doing well. Like all upper-level science courses be prepared to study alot but tests and labs are fair. Would def recommend him!

Peter Smith is an amazzzzing teacher! He is so thorough with his lectures and makes sure you know exactly what you will need to know for all of the upper level courses you'll need for the medical feild. He gives out all of his notes and a test review for each test! You want to take his class, You wont be sorry!!

I had Pete for A&P II in Fall 2005. He makes you work, but it is what is required for any of the medical fields. If you think he is hard, you might want to re-think your career choice. Nursing classes are much harder. Three cheers to Pete thanks for the preperation for my nursing classes!!!

Loves to teach. Flexible with making up quizzes/tests. No extra credit but curves tests/quizzes. Intense course. Hard to maintain a good grade if you work full time.If you have spare time, go for it. Otherwise I'd reccommend an "easier" teacher. Helps out with any questions. Witty. Wants you to learn as much as you can. Great professor.

There is an incredible amount of work, but look, he is teaching future allied healthcare workers! He requires much because you will have people's lives in your hands. He is excellent and ALWAYS there to give you extra help. The people who go for extra help are usually the A students. If you are willing to do the work, you will do well.

Pete is a great teacher. His class IS tough however and even those with a medical back ground may have a challenging time. If is always willing to work with his students however and give them advice or heads up with what direction to take. He isn't rude, he just has a sarcastic sense of humor. Take Pete and don't worry about all the other trash.

I enjoyed being in his class and loved the examples he uses with his materials. He is one tough cookie, but I find that in order to know your stuff, you need to start somewhere! Exams are very complex but that all depends on how much studying you do and how much you understand before taking it.
