Doesn't give away A like all the others. Duncan knows about design and what it's like to work. Even better, he helped me grow as an artist with lot of comments. Take him if you can.

Knows his material, and is very helpful. Responds quickly to my questions and even phone called me when I was struggling. Doesn't give easy grades, knows when we can do better like when we sluff off a project.

Duncan was very helpful and was willing to work with me the extra bit i needed to understand the material. I saw a lot of people complaining, but what do they expect when they take an online class? He answered my questions quickly and really knows about working with clients and about art history and design. Wish I had more classes with him.

I have taken a lot of college classes and have never had a professor more unwilling to help. Only class I ever withdrew from due wanting a learning environment rather than just a negative one. Very unimpressed.

You don't want to miss any class; take lots of notes. His tests are difficult at first but easy once you get to know how he chooses the material for them, it is quite a bit of material though. Great professor, expects a lot but is very willing to help. Be prepared for lots of homework too, depending on what class you take with him. I learned a lot.

Don't challenge him, keep your head down, turn in lots of paperwork and you'll do ok. Not well organized - get assignment requirements in writing and verify frequently. Bad teacher for technical subjects, great resource for artistic subjects.

His agenda was difficult and I'd expect nothing less from a good college. Most the class whined about the workload and failed tests (welcome to college). The game and simulation program is no joke and either are Duncan's tests. I really enjoyed this class, got a lot from it and I am looking forward to gsp240.

OMG - does this guy suck. Most of the stuff he teaches is so outdated; Real web developers can just pick up a book or look up the information on the internet. If your web site isn't "artistic" your screwed - if you can code - he doesn't care unless it's pretty. Basically if everything is pretty, he will give you a good grade, even though it mig

Knows his stuff, and is not afraid to tell it like it is, even if it's not what the administration wants you to hear. He really challenges you to think, but at the end of the day, he rewards your efforts. The best CIS prof so far.
