I took his Stats 2 class, l am have also excelled in Math until I came across his class. I took stats 1 in my high school and passed the class with an A+. I would stay away from him at all cost. The only good thing about the class was he makes you buy an older version of the textbook so the textbook is pretty cheap. I used the textbook a lot.

You can pass with your eyes closed, but he's so boring and just needs to retire. I don't recomend!! You get him for Stats 1 your stuck with him for 2.

Dr. Pfaff is not a good teacher by any means. You have to teach yourself the material out of the textbook. He is unclear with his explanations and not very helpful. He is a nice guy, but I do not recommend him at all.

Very easy class and easy A. Requires you to be able to read and figure out questions in the textbook prior to learning anything about it in class. He does not teach it, you learn it on your own. The material is easy enough to do though (I am horrible at math and still aced this class). Doesn't answer your questions, he is confusing/confused easily.

I knew a guy who didn't show for 12 classes straight, got a C. EASILY pass this class w/ minimal effort, almost painful to do so. If you take him for 255, better get him for 256. You will be screwed otherwise - you learn next to nothing unless you have 6-8 hours a week to teach yourself the material. Sorry Dr. Pfaff. You're a good guy..it's time.

nice guy, rambles a lot. gives pop quizzes instead of tests. just the final. he puts hw on angel and the answers. hes not too bad to pass but hard to understand materials

He is a really nice guy... but a TERRIBLE TEACHER. Half the time you dont know what he's saying, and when you ask him a question he does everything but answer it! And he starts these word problems and then forgets what he's doing!!!

Nice guy, goes off on tangents a lot. Posts hw answers on angel same day its assigned. All pop quizzes no tests plus final exam. Grades quizzes on average. Easy to pass. I'd recommend.

Pfaff is not half as bad as these people are making him out to be. Yeah, he gets off topic, and does get confused sometimes but he grades on an average, and posts the homework answers online. The class isnt hard either.

He is going seanial and losing his mind. He forgets what he assigned for homework and talks himself into word problems that he even gets confused with. Don't bother with this class, it's a wonder he can still attempt to teach at his age.

For Stats I, he graded on a curve and was kind of a goof ball but the way to get a good grade is to find something in common with him and talk to him after class. A lot of easy quizes and only 1 test, the final exam. Lets you pick how each portion of the course is weighted (Homework, Quizes, Test)

Pfaff is confusing and doesn't answer questions very clearly. You have to pay attention in class and always do your homework. His absent mindedness was not as distracting as all the obnoxious people making a big deal about it. If you want to be good at statistics, take someone else. If you just want to get a decent grade, take Pfaff.

hes crazy his hair always sticks up hes pretty interesting -- dont talk in his class he'll stare at you for like 5 min after you stop talking, he makes up problems that even he cant solve, he tests you on things he hasn't taught yet but your grades are based on how everyone else did too, hes always available for help but is not actually helpful

I dont understand why so many people dislike this guy. He's actually a real nice guy, a little weird but nice. Also the way he grades is great for those who struggle. There are anywhere from 1-3 quizes a piece a week worth 20 pts and he grades on the average. So basically if the average on the quiz is a 10 and you score a 8 you get a B

Wonderful teacher! Always willing to help and lively teaching style. Let's you pick how your grades are weighted for the semester! No tests except the final... just unannounced but VERY fair quizzes. If you go to class you should do fine in this course.

Prolly one of the worst teachers i have ever had. his method of teaching is intimidation. If he asks if you have questions, and u ask, he attacks you with the questions that you already admitted that you dont know the answers to. BAD
