If you have a slight interest in learning about religion, this class will be somewhat easy. Lectures can be a little hard to sit through, and might fall asleep. Take good notes, skim through the book, and go talk to him during office hours before any tests. Chooses exact test questions from study guide. Final grade is average of 3 test scores.

Most boring class I ever took. You just sit and listen to him talk through the whole class. Very monotone, I would recommend to not take this class. Nothing against him, he knows his things it's just that the lecture is so boring. A lot of people would sleep even though he doesn't care. He will mark you absent if you're on your phone

his class is so tough! I am science major and I have never worked this hard getting a B/C is so much work I have given up on the A which is ridiculous bc it's a religion class. On top of that he's so rude if u don't understand something or ask a question he will belittle u so the envmt isn't welcoming to ask anything. Avoid taking him!!

I loved this professor. He's very boring and monotone, but it's a pretty simple class and he's very nice. He knows him stuff!He gives you homework questions which is exactly the exam. You do have to attend class, but you don't have to pay attention. If you can handle 1 hour of boring then I highly recommend him bc it's so simple.

Fr. Timko is super easy! His class is super boring but you do not have to pay attention to do good. His study guides are exactly the same thing as the tests. Take him if you can, the boring lectures are worth the grade you will get (if you attend class and do the papers).

I honestly disliked his class. Lecture super boring, half the class sleeping. Overall it is not hard, tests out of study guides he gave us, but I never knew what i had wrong on my tests, he just deducts points, u can solve the study guide n still barely get C! Take someone else if you can...

He is a good teacher. Deffinitely knows his stuff. There is much reading required. Homewrk questions are off the books but they are not that easy to find. You go over hw together before you turn it in. Tests are based of the hw! Good teacher overall

I agree with the comment from 4/2/05. I took him for "The Church." He seems to be fine with the people who sleep through his class, but seems to secretly feel hostility towards people who ask questions/comment (I'm not being dramatic)... Also, gets a warm fuzzy feeling from screwing people over to prove that his BS class is "hard."

Unless you know the Bible by heart, forget succeeding in Baptism of Europe. Timko constantly puts us down in front of the entire class, and we are usually the only people paying attention, and not working on homework for other classes. This class is not worth your time.

A superb lecturer. Lots of people got bored in his class, but that's because they were ignorant. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
