Best teacher I've had at Rutgers. He was incredibly clear and really knew his stuff. It is a lot of work, but he tells you this at the start. If you do the homework and are interested in programming, then exams are pretty easy.

He is the bst teacher I've ever had throughout my entire college experience. His english was great, I assume he grew up in the US, and couldn't be any more clear. He was really cool, and although the class was difficult, this difficulty forced me to REALLY learn the material and in effect enjoy Java

This class had a lot of homework and recitation attendance is manditory (which is irritating). The exams are easy, the homework is medium difficulty.

He's been my favorite teacher at RU. Knows his stuff and how to teach it. Enjoys talking with students and giving that extra little effort to answer questions, even during lecture, and never runs over the hour twenty.

Probably one of the nicest professors?@RU, I seriously can?t get over how nice and cool he is. He actually cares about students learning and understanding the material well, a rare characteristic among college profs. On a side note, the class is really hard and assignments will require a lot of time commitment. But professor Hari is totally awesome

He claims that the class is easy to pass, but not so easy to get an A in. He told us getting 50% of the points for the class would get you a C. I got well over 50% and he gave me an F- he doesn't give Ds & you can only get one by request if you earned one. Seems he changed his policy at some point and refuses to discuss it. Nice otherwise, though

Hari is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is extremely clear and tries to make sure everyone gets everything before moving on. Don't assume he won't help, ask him for some extra help if you need, he's great like that. And ask questions in class. The class is hard, but he made an A possible.

Might be the best CS professor at Rutgers! He makes class relaxing and easy to understand. He's very patient with his students too. No CS experience required cos he walks you through everything at your pace. Make sure you do the homework cos the exams are basically the HW problems but even easier. Easy A if you do the work.

Professor Hari's class is very fair and easy as long you do the homework. Exams come from simplified homework problems. I would not recommend taking this class because of its ease but to get taught by one of the best professors I have had at Rutgers University. Professor Hari is not only eloquent but teaches the subject in a very understandable way

Class is easy as****. I did every homework no problem in like 3 hours max. Absolutely no computer science experience. Just go to all the lectures, do all the homeworks, and be careful on the tests and this class is a breeze.

In my educational career, there have been a few instructors that have either stood out as being exceptionally good, or horrendously bad. P Hari is in the top of the top, well spoken, gives clear examples in class, and is genuinely interested in both the subject and his students.

Great Professor. Goes over everything that is necessary. It is recommended that you know how to program a little, else the textbook will be your new best friend.
