Very helpful. Goes over material in detail. Sets aside class periods to ask questions. Good sense of humor. Material is mildy difficult but can easily get through it. I would take this professor again.

Dr. Kalra is a tough teacher, but he knows his stuff. If you go to class and pay attention you will do just fine. Made us do problems without Finace calculator but it made me understand the material better.

Could not understand anything he said. He does not speak english very well at all. Very frustrating to try and sit through class when you have no idea what is going on!!! He is a smart guy, but not a good speaker, he is from india or something....

if you feel like being totally stressed the hell out for the entire semester then take this guy. You can't understand him, no matter how hard you study you will never truly know what is on the tests...trust me i tried very hard just to get a c+ in the class. everyone flunked the tests...yes he does curve it, but the class avg. was usually a 54%!

horrible teacher ever, this guy cant even speak english i cant believe msum lets him teach. And whats sad is he is the ownly one that teaches this class, msum needs to get a new teacher and give us options for teachers. This class is very hard and the questions from the test arent even in the book. He comes to class not knowing what he teached.

Took class from Kalra because no one else was teaching it and was pleasently suprised from past reactions from other students. Not too hard, very funny guy to have teaching class. Absolutely knows what he's talking about and has experience to back him up.

Kalra is one of the most distinguised profs at MSUM, he teaches because he wants to, not because he has to. Does not care too much for dumb students and doesn't like suck ups. If anyone is thinking of doing any personal investing of any kind I recommend
