I took this class as a hybrid class so we met once a week and then had a lot of material online, but I really enjoyed Dr. Pitts as a professor. He posts all of the lectures online and you take quizzes on them before class. Other than that we just have the usual exams, no big projects or anything. Take him!

Dr. Pitts is a fantastic professor. His lectures are interesting and engaging. He gives weekly online quizzes which are easy if you read the textbook and the online slides. His tests are HARD. Know your material, because he tries to trick you with multiple choice answers of 'both a and b' or 'all of the above'. Go to his review sessions- so helpful

His course is a hybrid course where half was in class and the other was online. The online portion is just weekly short quizzes and some short readings. There is no discussion posts. His tests are on the days you aren't scheduled to have class and he also does Q&A sessions. His lectures are really interesting too.

Dr. Pitts is thorough in his explanations, gives a ton of feedback on lab papers, and goes above and beyond to help his students understand the material. He adjusts the work load if it starts to become too much, and is readily available to help outside of class.

OMG...I think this guy just likes to hear himself talk. He grades so unreasonably. If it isnt the way he would say it then he counts you wrong. Its impossible. He doesnt structure the class correctly either, he wants to cover so much but of course there isnt enough time, and then that reflects poorly on OUR grades! DO NOT TAKE this as a 400 class!

The tests were hard. Basic concepts but difficult wording. You needed exact terms to satisfy open ended questions. He does use information from the textbook on the exams. His slides are online after lecture. No homework. Article readings on are the tests. tests are every other week. assigns your lab partner to you. makes your lap manual.

He is the definition of a Greek God, I swear the way he inspires me everyday in class, I swear he is the nicest professor you will ever find! He is smarter than the average dictionary and sings like a french canary. Lord made this piece of perfection for the world to admire while he acts goofy and does killer rat impressions! :)

Most boring thing ever. Holy cow. Would spend so long explaining things that you get so bored you miss half of what he says. Over explains everything (not in a good way). Tests were like nine pages of short answer and essay questions and had to be his exact words. Glad it is over.

He's awesome! Struggled at first but when I told him helped me to develop study habits for the class- attend every class & read the text book & study the slides. I didn't have to put a ton of effort in the class. Be engaged in lecture- it's interesting & his passion for the material makes it that much better! Take him & talk to him if u need help.

He can sometimes beat a dead horse and go over the same material for an extremely long time. I fell asleep more than once. You won't be entertained, but you will be thankful for his attention to detail when it comes time for the test. Pretty nice guy too. Funny in a awkward, kinda way. I'd suggest him

BORING class....but he is pretty funny and at least tries to make the material interesting. Very animated. Uses really elaborate language thought. Tests are near impossible but he allows for extra credit. Very approachable.

class requires a lot of studying and quizzes are challenging but not impossible...i never made less than an a...overall class was not that difficult...as for dr. pitts, he's pretty nice and he's funny but he did tell off a student for saying bless you in class one day which we all thought was a little much

I think he is a very nice guy BUT his class was the most boring class i have ever taken in my life. it was all i could do to stay awake. to make matters worse the class is 2 hours and 45 minutes long. take my advice DON'T TAKE IT!! but then again eperimental psych just sucks as it is!
